Greetings!

These are videos from the net. Just an added info or viewing materials for us.

I would try to post more and from time to time it will be updated. I will just put a date beside it  to guide us.

thanks for this very informative site that you made. i just found this in browsing the net, i never knew that there is s ite like this aside form the dost site.

now i can find some techniques and ideas and now i can say i can AI myself thru the videos hehehe

In sow usually you only give dewormer and vaccine.

Dewormer will be 10-14 days before farrowing.

Vaccination depends on  the history of your locality.

Better to ask your municipal veterinarian about proper program.

I sent you an email included there is a sample vaccination program.

Maganda po ang video ng sow farrowing (9/19/07), pero napansin ko po na pag labas ng biik ay nakakabit pa din ang cord nito sa inahin. Ano po ba ang dapat gawin doon? putulin po ba o hilahin?

Actually the cord is already detach from the uterus of  the mother.

It is just long that some part is still in the vaginal canal of the sow even thought the piglet is already outside. But if you will pull it, it will not resist at all.

This long umbilical cord is then cut and you would just leave about 2 inch length of umbilical.
