Doc, nagbibigay din po ba kayo ng vitamins sa mga alagang baboy tulad ng vitamin ADE at vitamin B  complex? Para saan po ba ito at ano po ba ang mode of action ng mga ito? Pwede din po ba ang vitamins ng tao ang ibigay para sa alaga nating baboy?

ADE is for sow usually given during the weaning of piglet. Para maglandi uli. Usual mode Injectable

Vitamins B= i just give to piglet at weaning day to prevent stress. Injectable.

Vitamin premix for animal is much cheaper than human vitamins. Although theoretically it is possible to give human vitamins to animal.

May mga sample vitamin B complex po kasi ako dito na pang tao. Just wondering lang kung pwede sa baboy, kung pwede mga ilang ml. kaya ang pwede ibigay sa mga piglets?

Oral multivitamins po ba siya?

You could try 5 ml orally. For one pig only, try to observe it there is no adverse reaction for the whole day.

If you think it is okay then you can continue and stop if some  problems arises.

You could give vitamin b for the sow but not as replacement for ADE.

Vitamin b is for appetite stimulant,
Vitamin C for immune boosting,


Vitamin ADE is for libido or sex drive of the animal

Doc, is vitamin ADE is only for sex drive? or it will increase the egg cell of the sow? If i inject vitamin ADE will it increase the litter of the sow?

About sa vitamin B naman. diba doc marami klase ng vitamin B? What kind of vitaminm B will i buy? I saw vitamin B comlex with liver extract, is it okey doc? Pasensya na dami ko tanong?

Vitamin E primary affects the sex hormones of the animal, sex hormones naman will affect the libido, egg production etc. Vitamin E is just a part of the whole picture. To increase egg production you must also have enough energy so eggs can be release from the ovaries. Vitamin E could help increase litter size and return to heat of the animal.

The commercial available vitamin b in the market are multivitamins, usually andun na yun iba't ibang B vitamins plus other minerals. B complex with liver extract is fine. Just compare the cost if it is practical naman.

Generally they are termed multivitamins.

                                                                                                                                                                          ex. mixmate vitamin-mineral, pecutrin, usually they are powder form that can be mixed in water or feed.

Your commercial feed usually have multivitamins already.

Just give multivitamins when sudden change of weather occurs or there is an outbreak of disease near your vicinity.
Some give in a monthly or weekly basis, personally i do not do this because of the cost.

In some store you could by generic multivitamins in 1 kg plastic container. This is much more cost effective than the sachet.

wala naman pong masama sa pagbibigay ng vitamins  baka lang po mastress or magulat ang sow kung sasaksakan nyo.  Kung hindi naman siya matamlay then as much as possible oral nalang ang ibigay nila.
