Our farm will study the nutritional value of Malunggay this year in 2008 to see if it is possible to increase the milk yield in our milking goats, using a all natural product.
Nutritional:flowers, leaves and pods eaten as a vegetable, source of calcium, iron phosphorus and vitamins A,B,C.Pods maybe used also for intestinal parasitism.Dried leaves is used for lactation.A woman will take 6 tablespoons per day,I am not sure about doe goat(s).We will most likely start at 3 tablespoons and see what happens from there. This is just something we plan to explore further this year. One of those problems raising meat breed(s) of goat(s) is that there are times the doe cannot produce enough milk for her young, this maybe of some value to us farmers.
