Gud day Doc Nemo, I'm starting poultry business na this January 20, 2012. Capacity ng kulungan ko is around 700 - 800 heads pero start ko muna lagyan ng 300 heads kasi bago lang ung kulungan baka meron dala sakit ung kawayan at saka ung surroundings, then after dagdag uli ng heads the next salang uli until mareach ko ung full capacity. Kapain ko muna kung ilan talaga ung kasya sa kulungan ko baka kasi macrowded sila.

Base sa information na nakalap ko sa person na nasa poultry business din, ang consumption ng feeds is:
500 heads - 5 sacks chick booster ( 1:100 )
                 then after maubos ung chick booster, starter na kapalit ( 12 sacks )
                 then after maubos ung starter, finisher na ( 12-13 sacks )
                 33 days harvesting period ( 1 chicken is around 2 kilos )

Gusto ko lang malaman if this is ideal feed consumption. Tsaka ung dosage ng vitamins na gagamitin, tsaka required ba talaga lagyan sila ng "music"?

naalala ko doc nemo that time nung pumunta ako sa kulungan nya eh 35 days na ung chix at may bigat na average 2 kilos (males 2.1, females 1.9 tas ung medyo malilit 1.7/1.8 )
about sa area ng kulungan dapat ata is 1sq.ft / chicken?
tsaka inaatake ba sila sa puso at namamatay pag nagugulat? (i heard this rumor)

im already starting na as of January 21, 2012 with 300 heads (3 c.booster, 12 b.starter <wag na raw ako gamit ng b.finisher xe bumababa daw timbang ng chix>)
inform you again after what i experience.

sisiw - 25 pesos each ( pasubra 5 chix / 100 chix bought )
c.booster - 1,330/sack ( 25 kilos )
b.starter  - 1,280/sack ( 50 kilos )

doc, I also desire to put up poultry business. Now, I'm doing my research on it. Could you somehow send me manuals or guidelines on how to start this business? From the construction standards of cages or housing, feeding, number of herds, capital, profit and so on. I want to raise 45days chicken and yung paitlogin na manok.
