hello everyone..I'm planning to start a small hog raising business in our town.I already have a good location w/ fresh air, water supply and far from residence.Pls help me on how to choose a bread of pigs na gawin kong inahin for breeding.
Gusto ko sana mag concentrate sa pag breed ng baboy and then ang mga piglets ay para binta.I already know na in order to have a good return on investment, within 150 days kailangan ma binta ko na ang mga biik with an average weight of 85 kls.

If you want to have a gilt or sow much better kung bibili sila sa reputable na farm, syempre if the budget allows.

The usual breed of sow is largewhite and landrace. Yun ang madalas gamitin para gawin inahin.

doc, paano po ba ang production planning ng 4 sow level pra may monthly fattener na maibenta?

Hindi kaya ang 4 sow , if you want na every month may mabenta na baboy atleast around 6 sow level ka at every month ibebreed mo ang isa para atleast meron kang monthly na bentahan, assuming na hindi papalya ang isa sa anim na ito. Meaning lahat sila 100% ang farrowing and conception rate.

If you want to be successful sa business na hograising dapat kasi both meron kayo.

So, piglet production,  kapag kapos ang budget para palakihin ang biik benta nyo  kapag meron budget palakihin nyo as fattener.

For starter start kayo sa fattening then dahandahan mag inahin na kayo for piglet production. Ang dapat kasi sa farm ay meron continous supply ng reliable genetics ng piglets.

Hi Doc,

Good morning!

Bago lang din ako sa forum na ito.  Tulad ng mga bagong member of this forum, gusto ko ring magventure into piggery business.  May i kindly ask from you doc to furnish me a copy of the FS on how to start this kind of business para po mataas possibility ng tagumpay.  am planning to start to buy 3 gilts at ang mga biik ay yon ang gagawin kong fattening.

bago lang din po me sa forum na ito, hingi po sana ako ng FS ng hog raising, magkano po ang puhunan sa pagsisimula? May mga centers po ba na nagbibigay ng mga seminars/information about sa hog raising?

Hello Doc. May nabili po ako na 200 sq. meter na lupa and sukat po ay 10 x 20. ilan po maximum na inahin at patabaing baboy ang pwede kong alagaan. Pahingi a din po ng design ng housing if you have any at Feasibility study na din po. Salamat po.
