Pag aalaga ng inahin

Hi Doc,
Ewan ko kong tama ang ginawa namin sa sa pag bigay ng gamot sa inahin namin.
1 week before nagwalay nag inject kami ng Vit.ADE. Then during weaning nagbigay
kami ng Ivermectin at Coforta. Payat kasi sa tingin namin ang inahin.
Then sa mga kulig naman ay Ivermectin at Belamyl. Tama ba ito Doc ?

in 1 year umaabot ng 4 times.
deworm bago pakastahan at ideworn 10 araw bago manganak. as loob ng sang taon 2 beses manganganak at papakastahan ang inahin kaya umaabot ng 4 na beses ka nagdeworm.

Sa kulig nagdedewrom 1 week pagwalay tpos deworm after 2 weeks. Pero minsan kung nagagawa mo naman ang deworming sa inahin palagi at laging malinis ang kulungan kahit isang beses na lang sa kulig.

in 1 year a sow is being dewormed 4 times.

1 week before breeding and 10 days before farrowing. a sow will be bred and will  farrow 2 times a year.

in piglets you could deworm 1 week after weaning then booster after 2 weeks. But you follow 4 times deworming in sow and you disinfect your pen regularly you could opt for 1 deworming for piglet only.

In theory, there is nothing wrong with your procedure.

In piglet the usual recommendation is at weaning vitamins then 7 days after the deworming.

Personally i prefer vitamins and deworm at weaning time.

 My rationale is that once the animal is weaned i don't like to stress them by injecting deworming etc. Ang paghuli sa kanila is stress. So i would rather stress them once rather than stress them twice in a span of 7 days.

       good day po sa kanila....doc tanung ko lang po after farrowing anu po bang mga injectables,vit,supplement vaccination etc. ang binibigay sa sow according po sa araw na sinusunod ng mga expert and how much it will cost?thank you and more power..

this is my procedure.

Hog cholera-21 days after farrowing. sabay sila ng hog cholera sa piglets

vitamin ADE- at weaning date
Dewormer- at weaning date

doc good day. pwede bang magsaksak na ng lutalyse sa inahing naglalabor na kahapon pa pero wala pang gatas sa dede? hanggang ngayon po kasi eh wala pang gatas sa teats nya nor fluids sa ari nya na lumalabas. pero may contraction po kaming napapansin. gatas lang po talaga ang wala pa. due date po nya kahapon. salamat po.

If ang pinoproblema nila is yun gatas... no need to give lutalyse. Hindi po siya indicated for milk let down or production.

Give plenty of water and addtional calcium na lang po.

i do it magkasunod lang, inject the vitamins on the left and dewormer on the right then wean na sila

Doc, kung may 5 months gilt po ako anong program ng pakain ko dito saka po vacination..pasensya na po sa maraming katanungan...

Ang rule ko kasi is kapag nawalay na sila, hindi na dapat sila saksaksakan or huhulihin pa para iwas stress.

ang usual na ginagawa is magkahiwalay na week ang vitamins and deworming and kadalasan ito din ipinapayo ko.

Pero ang talagang practice ko especially kung pinagkatiwala sa akin ang farm sabay ang vitamins and purga.

MAs stressful kasi sa animal na 2 beses mo siya hulihin , this week hulihin mo then saksak ka vitamins then next week hulihin mo nanaman para saksak ka dewormer, sa tingin ko mas stressful ito. Mas maraming chance na may mapilay...

Unlike kung huli isang beses then saksak vitamin and dewormer.  So yun vitamins na ibinigay mo ang kokontra dun sa stress.

Kung magkahiwalay na day ang dewormer, wala kang pangkontra sa stress...

regarding po sa iron for pregnant sow, aside from Jectran Advance, ano po iba brand pwede?
naka ilang store na po pinuntahan ng tatay ko, wala sya mabili.
