well, most of the time kasi mas konti ang anak ng inahin na bata pa napabreed at medyo hirap din sa pagdeliver. Again , most of the time pero meron din naman pagkakataon na marami agad unang heat pa lang.
Tuloy lang po nila yun pagbubuntis. Charged to experience nalang po...

Gud day Doc, normal lng po bang mamaga ang ari ng 1st time na inahing baboy pagkatapos manganak?Nov. 17 sya nanganak isang still birth saka 9 ung buhay na piglet nya.ung unang labas pa ung stillbirth.estimated weight ng technician ay mga 2.3kilos daw,ito kaya ang cause ng pagiging stillbirth nya? salamat po sa pag sagot doc. to some extent malaki po yun piglet at malamang nahirapan dumaan sa ari ng baboy kaya namaga ito ng husto. Meron minsan cases na napipilas ang ari ng baboy dahil sa sobrang laki ng biik na lumabas. Possible po sa laki ng piglet hindi agad ito nakalabas kaya namatay ito...

I bring-up ko lng po tong di nasagot sa thread na ito. I'm also interested to know the answer.
"Anong sow level po ba dapat para makapag benta aku ng piglets every month? 5 sow level ok na po ba? mas mabilis po kasi ang pasok ng pera sa pagbebenta ng biik..napakagastos ng fattening..."

if everything is perfect sa tingin ko kahit 6-7 sow, monthly meron kang around 10 piglets.
pero on a safe side around 10 sow, pwede ka na makaproduce 10 piglets per month sa tingin.

Thanks, doc. Sana na all will be well and as planned.
Right now, may 2 po akong inahin na tingin namin nakakuha na, di na nagheat uli kc. Then by April, I have another 2 gilts ready for . By batch rin po ung pinipili kong mga gilts. Hopefully, magaganda mga anak nila. Nagbase lng rin po ako sa hitsura nila (mhaba na hindi bagsak tyan) and kung magana silang kumain.
Preselected na kc sila galing sa farm, so nagbase na lng ako sa performance nila sa pagkain. May isa akong nkuha na galing sa backyard ng bayaw ko, and compared sa farm, iba ung attitude nya. Parang inate ung mothering ability nya, kc sobrang maamo and gus2 lagi hinihipo. Napansin rin namin na xa lng ung di nabibigla o nagugulat, mga biik galing farm, sobrang magugulatin pag may dumarating na tao.
Totaling to 8 gilts na sila, sana mataas prolificacy nila. =)

may navisit akong farm kuyang, may sounds sa nursery nila, puro instrumental mga music. bawas gulat daw. stress nga naman sa biik kapag nagugulat sila.

doc good day, ask ko lang sana if i bought a gilt from a big farm is it ok to feed with ipa ng palay mix with commercial feeds para maka save? or i have to feed it with commercial feeds talaga, pang backyard lang po kasi ung akin eh

ito ho ang mga tanong na mahirap sagutin...
kung katipiran kasi ang pag uusapan , yes makakatipid pero alang assurance na magiging maayos or malusog ang magiging anak nito....pag naghalo ka kasi sa feeds ng raw mats medyo mababago ang formulation nito at ito ang binabayaran mo sa feeds...
Mas maganda po sigurong gawin nila sa ngayon at hanggang first anakan nito magpuro kayong feeds then sa 2nd na pagbubuntis saka sila maghalo para macompare nila kung alin ang mas maganda ang result.
Kaya ko po pinapauna na commercial feeds ang gamitin ay sa dahilang para makita nila kung maganda talaga ang nabili nilang inahin.

tama kayu doc nahirapan mganak tapos 8 lang ang anak namatay pa ang dalawa. pero ok narin 1 st parity pa lang naman. ganun parin po ba dok mahihirapan din sa 2nd parity nia?
