If less than 100 heads ka no need for ECC....
Here is an excerpt of the email the Environmental Management Bureau sent me....
Concerning your inquiry on the requirements for piggery project, please be informed that for piggery projects having less than 100 heads, an Environmental Compliance Certificate is not required since it is not within the purview of the Phil. EIS System. For piggery having 100 heads but less than 5000 heads, an Initial Environmental Examination REport is required as the basis of your ECC application, while an Environmental IMpact STatement Report is required for projects having 5000 heads or more. Both document shall be submitted to our regional office concerned.

Here is the reply of EMB
For poultry, less than 10,000 heads is not covered, while for 10,000 but not more than 100,000 heads shall require an Initial Environmenal Examination checklist. EIS shall be required for poultry with 100,000 heads or more.

Gud am Sir:
I would like to know if there is any other permits/requirements needed in swine business sir?
Like for example; DTI, DA, City/Municipal government, and Barangay Permit/Clearance.
I read already your quote about ECC sir.
Sample Scale:
1. Small scale ( less than 100 hogs)
2. Large scale ( more than 100 hogs)
I need information about this sir so that I can start this business in a right manner without any hesitation and fear about the authority.
Hoping for your immediate response.
Thank you and more power!
