In terms of investment it is a bit costly.
For my opinion it is not advisable base na lang in the cost. Add to the problem is man power. You need to put feeds in every pen and it cost time, money and feed wastage.
In terms of meat quality i think pigs grown in this system have inferior quality. The more an animal could move the better the quality of meat.

Yes, they need to move.
Enough space to move... too much space will sometimes affect growth. They tend to grow much slower because they play a lot.

Hello everyone,
May I ask from anyone in this forum your best designs that you can recommend for a forrowing pen designed for fattening and breeding? I agree there are risks in raising piglets, especially the suckling ones without this equipment. I also need to know their dimensions & perspective view if it wouldn't be too much to ask.
Thanks a lot -gun

fattening is 1 square meter per animal. Height would be 1 meter
Farrowing, there are now ready made farrowing pen. Just by one and copy the design usually they within standard naman.

Basta po dapat 1 square meter per animal. Tapos magkaopposite side ang inuman ang pakainan. usually malapit sa gutter ang painuman
