TUMATAAS/BUMABABA ANG PRESYO NG BABOY

doc meron po ba kayong record kung kelan tumataas o bumababa ang presyo ng fattener? for us newbies, nakadepende rin kami sa haka haka ng iilan. say sa december tataas ang presyo ng baboy at sa ganitong buwan bababa uli.kung meron po sanang guide para dito to detect the high market, then maiityempo namin magfattener to that targeted month. thanks po. salamat po ulit

The usual trend is november to May prices of hogs are high then june to october prices are low.

BUt most raiser will tell you that if you want to succeed in this business you should be a year long raiser and not a seasonal one, because  although there are trends they are not that accurate.

For example, this November, the price of hogs are low but usually this is peak season sana...

Kapag nawala ang importation dito sa Pinas, sigurado tataas ang presyo natin..

too bad for hog raisers. feeds are not getting cheaper instead monthly tumataas ng 10pesos. thanks doc for the information.

If imports are gone then yes it will increase the price of hogs...

I hope we could become more self sustaining in terms of agricultural inputs like corn etc... If agriculture sector would flourish then everything will follow.

Easily said than done though.

Brazil can export cheap hogs because they are a corn producing country.
