Hog Farm Gate Price

Hi doc & to all memberrs,

May idea po ba kau kung magkano ang hog farm gate price ng mga lechoning baboy from suckling age to let's say up to 35 kilos?  Yung price for culled/reject hogs o slow grower at ska yung matinong baboy na pwede na for lechon? May standard price po b for 1st 10 kilos? How much po kaya tapos yung succeeding kilo din magkano?  Thank you for sharing your idea/s.

yung prices kasi magvary din sa current liveweight price sa area nila..

yun iba kasi ang style 2000 first 10 kilos then succeding is liveweight price... lugi ka nman as taga litson kapag ganito presyo.

kung litsunin ang target nila ang madaling kausap dyan is yun mga small piggery na hindi masyado puro feeds ang pinapakain sa inahin at mga pig nila. yun iba kasi na commercial feeds ang gamit ayaw magbenta paglitsunin kasi lugi sila.
o kaya mga bansot ang bilhin mo, yun marami ang pumapayag na palugi ang benta.

Hi doc,

Ask ko lang kung bakit nasabi mo na lugi if magbebenta ng lechonin following that the price of the first 10 kilos is 2,000 plus the price of the succeeding kilo will be the current fattener liveweight price? What is the basis?  Do you have a computation for this? Thanks for sharing.

I'm new to this forum kaya paki advice nalang po if I should post this as new topic. We are a group of backyard hog raisers based in Angeles, Pampanga we are looking for "good buyers" of hog fattener around this area. Kindly please email me at bronson.pelayo@gmail.com if interested. wala po akong exact data pero here is a simple analysis na nabanggit sa akin nung may nadaanan akong naglilitson sa bulacan.

if a piglet cost around 2000 pesos at gagawin mong litson ito ang possible na overhead mo....
uling, kulungan , feeds , manpower. sa feeds daw kung ano n lng minsan pinapakain nila para tipid.
things to consider mo is hindi araw araw may bibili at hindi k din makakabili ng paisaisang piglet.
sa mga sikat na store nasa 4000-4500 ang presyo letson de leche.
pero sa mga nagstart pa lang mas mababa pa dito ang price.

But I sold my piglets weighing from 15 to 34 kilos with the pricing style that you've mentioned in your previous message...that the first 10kilos be at 2,000 to 2,100 and the succeeding kilo is priced at the current fattener price.

tama po yun price range na nabanggit nyo yan current so far.

what i mean po dun sa previous post ko is kung sa ganyan price bibilhin ang piglet para gawin litsunin na bentahen lugi ang bibili. hindi po yun nagbenta...

wow..ang sarap basahin ng mga prices na nakapost sau tinkerbell..kaso ung farm gate price sa amin(southern leyte) sobrang baba..last august 85 per kilo nung nagbakasyon ako sa amin, and now sabi ng wife ko is 90 per kilo daw, kasi next week benta na namin ung first batch ko na 10 hog..at sa current price na 90 per kilo..lugi po kasi all commercial feeds kami..huhuhuh..planning to expand pa naman kaso ang hirap imarket pag kami mismo magkakatay..tapos nung first week ng sept, nagtaas na daw ng price ung feeds supplier namin..

yung usual na nakapost is for farm gate price , kapag backyard ka kasi madalas bawas 5-10 pesos.

bakit nagbabawas ang biyahero ? unlike kasi sa farm na kapag bumili sila isang bagsakan lang lahat ng needed nila na baboy mabibili agad nila therefore no need para umikot ikot sa ibat ibang babuyan para makuha kota nila, unlike sa backyard tumattas fuel cost nila kakaikot. Dati sabi nila mas maganda kasi ang karne ng farm although sa current situation natin ngayon hindi na nagkakalayo ang ganda ng karne ng farm at backyard.
