Hi,
I just want to ask if there is anyone ever tried to breed a Landrace sow to a PIC boar?
Are the breeding of both is a good slaughter pig?

By next week, Im planning to breed both by AI. Doc Nemo, what can you comments on my idea?

According to my friend, PIC AI gives good result .

They could also give you options whether you want a lean , ham heavy pig etc...

It is an F1.

You could get a replacement gilt from it but the performance is not sure.

Logic will dictate that there is a high probability that it will give a good offspring that can be used as a gilt.

In contrast to  breeding farm,
In breeding farm the  animal they sell are proven to produce quality piglets.

If you are short in budget choosing from your herd is not a bad idea.
