In truth,any forage product can be turned into silage.The real question is how to make it safe for your animals to eat without killing them.I would think if someone could find someone else who is already making their own silage and see first hand how to make it and make it safe then you will be successful.The trial and error method can be costly when mistakes are made and livestock(s) die.
