Greetings Doc and fellow farmers,
does anyone can share the costing and price estimate of the materials needed on building a 6 slot 3x4m (12 fatteners) pigpens? also can you give an inexpensive but most efficient materials to use... im planning also to use a 10cubic meter septic tank,
in addition,
in my area here in bulacan pig farmers are using the pig manure to produce a biogas they are using what they called digester, i think its much better to use the digester than the septic tank as is it. we can use the gas for everyday cooking purposes im planning also to convert some of the gas energy to produce steam to power up a electric generator and to power up my power sprayer for cleaning purposes that way we can minimize expenses... sorry for the out=of-the-topic post im just starting a brainstorm here... ^_^ i hope we can help each other,, im working on this project...

« on: August 07, 2011, 01:07:45 AM »Possible tlga magkaheat stroke ang mga alaga natin kung sobra itong busog tapos siksikan pa sa kulungan, at masyadong kulob ang building I mean hindi well ventilated..
Hindi rin naman po kailangan laging basa ang kulungan nila yung dumi lang nila ang lilinisim atleast dapat meron silang tuyong sahig na mahihigaan..
Negative effect pag laging basa, possible lalo silang magkakasakit like pneumonia.
tnx sa reply sir may point ka dun tama nga baka lalo lng cla ma prone sa sakit dhil sa bacteria na dala ng bumi nila o ung mga bacteria na pwd mag build up

Doc may tanung lng po aq tungkol sa nasabi nyo na dapat ndi palaging basa ang kulungan ng baboy, kasi po may napagtanungan aq na prone nga po sa heatstroke ang baboy lalo na pag tag init na po at sa panahon na pag mainit tas bigla nmn uulan eh sisipunin at uubuhin nmn po ang baboy, so ang sinuggest nya sa mga ganung panahon dapat daw po laging basa ang kulungan ng baboy para magbago man bigla ang temperatura ng pabahon ndi maxadong mabibigla ang baboy at dahan dahan lng itong makaka adopt sa temperature, ngaun po anu po ba ang negative effect ng laging basa ang kulungan ng baboy.

magandang umaga, pwede po bang humigi ng standard size, structure and recommendation (taan ng bubong uri ng mga materiales taas ng pader flooring feeding equiptments drinking facitities,) ng pig pen, plano ko po mag alaga ng 40 na biik for fattening.
