Doc Nemo, Are Ivomec and Cevomec are the same brand? Can i inject my 1 week old piglets a Vetrimoxin L.A. eventhough my piglets has no illness?

Ivomec and Cevamec - different brand  but same generic name  Ivermectin

Like slyfox said they have the same generic name ivermectin.  Don't give any L.A. drugs to piglet.  Adverse reaction to this kind of drugs are high.

As much as possible give only antibiotic if the animal is sick.

Doc Nemo, Pareho lang ba ang epekto ng generic (ivermectin) at branded (ivomec) o mas malakas ang epekto ng branded (ivomec)?

They have the same effect.

What you are buying in the branded is not only the product but the assurance that they have a quality and R&D of their product

thank you doc. ang ivermectin po ba ay nasa botelya na 100 ml o nasa plastic? Papaano ba malaman ang weight ng isang sow? Ano ba ang AVERAGE WEIGHT ng isang buntis na sow bago ito i-deworm (2 wks before farrowing)?

yun generic ay nasa bottle na brown 100 ml. yun branded ay nasa plastic na 50 ml.

Range could be from 150 kgs to 250 kgs.

I just give around 5 ml to 7 ml. If it is a gilt i give around 5 ml lang. If it already a sow and huge i give 6-7 ml.

Malabo pa kasi sa aking kaalaman ang tamang pagpurga sa aking mga alaga, at alam natin na ito ay isa sa mga sanhi ng inefficiency nila in both growers and breeder.

Paano ba natin e-determine yong tamang pampurga na ating gagamitin sa ating mga alaga?

Sa Curiousity ko lng ito, may nagkwento kasi sa akin na nagsabi dapat gumamit ka sa tamang gamot na sensitive sa kung anumang bulate na meron ang iyong mga alaga. I'm in doubt kasi akala ko ang lahat na dewormer ay pamapatay ng mga parasite in both internal/external....tama ba doc?

At kung tama yong aking narinig. ano kayang gamot na pedeng pumatay sa lahat na bulate?

Ito yong list ng mga bulate na maaring tumama at napakahazardous para sa ating mga alaga.

 ;D pinakapractical na kasi yun broadspectrum na antiparasite like ivermectin, doramectin etc...

just imagine kung hindi siya broadspectrum then imbes na isang drug lang ibigay mo baka magdalawa ka pa kasi itong isang gamot hindi kaya si ganitong bulate, while itong isa kya naman yun ganito klase etc...
or kung sakali naman kaya niya lahat ng bulate, paano naman yun galis, it means nid mo pa magbigay ng gamot para sa galis  naman.... so hindi na practical ito.

Tama kayo Doc...dapat talaga yong broadspectrum na ang mga gamot lalo na sa pampurga...

Sana pati vaccine ganun din...he...he..weird thoughts lng...

May  nasearch din akong listahan pala, itoy nagpakita sa mga active medicine for dewroming at ang mga pinupuksang parasite respectively.
Kaso ang taas tinatamad akong magtype at hindi ako marunong magpost sa whole image dito..

Pede i-send ko na lng sa inyong g-mail ad? at kung sa tingin mo informative para sa mga nagsubaybay...paki post na lng po.
