It has been  in the news lately  the solar powered car created by Filipino students from DLSU. They called it Sinag. They competed in the World Solar Challenge in Adelaide Australia and finished pretty decent.

Unknown to many even the solar panel itself is made in the Philippines.

Sunpower Philippines in laguna manufactures the said solar panels.

dati nasa 25t yun isang unit. isang bulb, isang electric fan and tv kaya niya paaandarin.

pero marami nang lumalabas na mas mura  according sa internet.
