Title: SECOND HEAT BREEDING OF GILT

I'm planning to breed 1 gilt at the 2nd heat in order not to have traffic in our farrowing pen.
What is the vaccination program for this particular gilt ?

Tanong ko lang, Doc, if it is more important na ang gilt ay tamang edad of 8 months or so kesa sa timbang na 110 or more, bago pakastahan. Meron kasi akong apat na gilts na naglandi na for the first time at 6 months and 10 days old, and they weigh around 115 kg each. Palipasin ko ba ang second heat kahit na matimbang na sila? Salamat po.

Post by: nemo on October 05, 2010, 08:15:30 PM: indy62, hintayin po nila yun susunod na heat kahit right na sa timbang. Habang pinapalagpas kasi yun heat niya up to 2-3 tumataas ang chance na dumami ang iaanak nito.

Post by: nemo on October 07, 2010, 07:38:40 PM: medyo susugal po sila pag dating sa vaccination program. Kasi sa ginawa ko adjusted na yan per week ang bigay. So kung mapapaaga ang kanilang pagbreed matitigil ang ibang bakuna. ang maibibigay nyo nalang is yun before siya manganak onwards.
