hi doc, meron po akong bagong five piglets today for fattening di me po alam kung ano po yong bakunang binigay sa kanila, pwede ko po ba silang tusukan ng hcv booster sa april 8 kasi 7 weeks na sila o pwede po now na sila bigyan ng hcv booster o ng iba pang bakuna kagaya ng MH, kanina tinusukan ko po sila ng multivitamins kelan po pwedeng ulitin ito. ano po yong iron daw na tinusok sa kanila sabi nong pinagbilhan ko ng piglet.

Yung iron na binibigay sa piglet ay usually when they are around 3 day old. Kung walay na sila there is no need to give iron unless maputla sila or anemic.

You could give hog cholera April 7. MH you could give also if you are not sure kung nabigyan sila dati.

Vitamins could be repeated if necessary, matamlay ang animal, mahina kumain, masyadong pabago bago ang panahon are reasons why we repeat giving vitamins.

Isa po sa mga piglet ko nagtae advice po ng technician is to give amoxicillin powder ihalo po sa pagkain 3 to 5 days, which ginawa ko po for 3 days ok po ang result i stop it for 3 days na makita ko ok na tae nila after 1 day po nagtae ulit, is there a need to do it again and make it to five days? thank you po and God bless!

yup repeat again and make it 5 days. kahit ho makita nilang okay na sa 3rd day you need to finish the 5 days po.

Capital for swine business depends in the number of sow or pigs you want to raise. Older studies suggest that capital for 1 sow is around 40thousand. This include housing, animal etc. To be safe adjust this to 50t per sow.This computation is up to the time the animal will become pregnant, farrowed and your piglet be sold.

If you intend to keep your piglet and raise it as a slaughter  hog you need an additional 3500-4200 per animal for feeds and around 2000t per animal for pen construction.
