hi doc! would just like to ask if the P535.92/piglet harvested is the maximum fee to be paid by monterey to its growers?
our company is currently looking for contract growers and breeders for our pigs. we will provide the stocks, vet. med., vaccines, technical support, feeds and regular visits by our pig health specialist.
the partner will provide the building, manpower, electricity and water...
if there are interested people, we will present our growers or breeders scheme to them and we will visit their farms for site inspection.
thank you very much...
lalaine,
Can you email me the details at genie_ps@yahoo.com.

Nope, i used to be a technical vet for 2 different feed company.
I do not use the word consultant because per my opinion the title should be given to a veterinarian who is engaged in swine raising for atleast 10 years.

I will be heading home this christmas for holidays and I would like to know our inputs what are the necessary information I should know. I am thinking long term since, if ever I will venture into this type of business, I will no longer go back abroad to work. Thanks in advance.

Dok,
Hingi na din ako ng copy ng FS for swine raising. I'm also planning to venture into this bussiness. Ilan ba ang ideal number ong piglets to start? I'm totally new to this. di ba
makakaapekto kung sabayan na rin ng goat raising in terms of disease? Thank you paki email na lang dok yung FS. sa basyo29@yahoo.com
Best Regards,

It is better that they are not located in one area.
If you are a total newbie you could start small maybe 10 to 20 then increase it on your next batch.
Be familiar first with the in and out of the business.

You could try DA in malolos, or your munincipal agricultural office. Purina also have a pamphlet about swine raising you can ask any distributor or sales coordinator of purina for this.

Thanks Doc!
Currently we have breeding farms in Pangasinan and Davao City and grower farms in Pangasinan, La Union and Cagayan Valley.
Will post more in the coming days.
God bless!
Hi Ms. Lalaine,
Greetings!
May i know the name of the company you're connected with? And where in Pangasinan is your breeding farm? I have a small piggery in Binalonan Pangasinan and always looking for piglets.
Thanks & regards,
