-----------------
English version
Liveweight system= The price of the animal depends on the live weight of the animal on the scale.
Deadweight/sabit ulo= The entrails/ internal organs of the animal is removed and then the carcass is weigh. The price per kilo of the carcass is much more higher than the liveweight.
Estimate/sabit ulo=The pigs are priced according to what the buyer and the sellers have agreed upon.
Usually sellers are in the losing side in this system.

other term for estimate/bultuhan is mata-mata

Hi Doc,
I need your opinion on these:
1) For example, if the liveweight is 85kg, what is the estimated deadweight or carcass wt. or percemtage ?or resiko ?
2) Usually how much is the difference in prices or percentage between the liveweight and deadweight or carcass weight ?
We have some inquiry to sell by deadweight thru slaughter house.
Thanks.

yun dati is 10-20% dpende kung gaano kaganda breed mo.
Sa question number 2 mo i dont know kung ano na ang current na lakaran. dati parang around 10 pesos minimum ang dagdag sa price per kilo dead weight. kung direct ka, meaning you and the tindera lang talaga maguusap it will go as high as 20-30 pesos pa. wala na kasing middleman...pagkakatay diretso palengke na agad.
The problem with deadweight pricing is that it is time consuming... You need to go to the slaughter house and monitor your animal... There are times kasi pinagpapalit nila yun animal para lumabas na mas maliit yung animal mo. ANd i do believe ikaw pa ang mag dadala ng animal mo sa slaughter house and ikaw din magbabayad ng pa slaughter. And usually slaughtering take place early morning, medyo mahirap uwi ng madaling araw na may bitbit kang pera....

The canteen needs aroung 100kg per day,
sabit ulo. I dont know kong kakagatin ko ito or not. Thanks Doc.
