Ito ay ilan sa makukuhang sakit mula sa baboy:

Salmonella
Streptococcus
Brucellosis
Leptosporosis
Ascaris
Botulism
etc.
Ang mga sakit na ito ay pwede rin makuha sa ibang hayop at maging sa kapwa tao.  Bihira po ang nababalitang nagkasakit dahil nahawa sa hayop pero possibleng mangyari ito.

Sa feeds usually mold infection ang problem which may affect the lungs.

Sa chemical ang pinakasevere but rare mangyari is steven johnson disease. it is most common in antibiotic reaction.
