If you would start around 3 piglets and you will rent a land i would not recommend that you continue your business.

You will only earn big in swine by means of volume. If you start small and will rent a land then the profit you would gain from selling your produce would just be enough for the rental of the land.

Better engage in paiwi system if you cannot personally manage your piggery or if you do not have land.

In the paiwi system your partner will provide the housing, labor and electricity while you will provide the pig, feeds and medicine.  And at the day of harvest/slaughter what ever profit you will have will be divided.  If you incur loss then losses will also be divided.

Sorry for the late response.

Hi Nemo,

Thanks,
Badong

Hi Nemo,

Thank you very much for your response. This will be of big help to us. It gave us an idea as basis for our Accounting purposes to set up the feasibility study that we are required to submit for loan purposes and marketing presentation as well. Hopefully, once done, I could share it to the rest since many are asking for it.

More power to your website. God Bless.

cheers, Wink

You could buy a gilt from a breeding farm near you.

Check this link Agricultural Directory

Those which is in red are possible breeding farms.  Some of it include contact numbers.

Check your mail i sent you a simple costing.

Thank you.

Doc Nemo,

Malapit na akong umuwi sa Pinas and I would like to study further the expansion of our Backyard Hog-Raising Project or build a new one for our Cooperative.  Thanks a lot in advance:  My email addresses are:  mmpcoop@gmail.com  ;  monagren2000@yahoo.com  & monagren@hotmail.com.

I guess, I will have time to meet you personally when I come home.

Best regards,

I have sent you a simple costing but if you already have an existing farm then i do believe that your data is much accurate than the one that i send.

Doc Nemo thank you for your quick response. Yes I have data but I don't have the idea how to represent it on feasibility study. Again, thank you and good day!
