You may have to email Alamingos Goat Farm and ask them.We do not deworm pregnant does,we deworm the doe(s) 4-5 days after kidding, and the kid(s) starting at 1 month of age.I believe one of the dewormers we use is Fenbendazole (broad spectrum).I do not know personally,if this dewormer is good for pregnant doe(s).Be careful, deworming pregnant animals is risky business sometimes.

follow all directions on the medication, make sure the dewormer is not going into the lungs or big trouble. We use a tube that goes down the goats throat into the belly, pour in the exact amount.Goats do not like the tube down their throats, but it has to be done.Prevention is the best medicine, not always easy during the rainy season.

according to our manager, the local vet or vet tech. comes to deworm our goats for us,the goats are dewormed by drench system. Not sure about the shringe, what happens if the goat spits out the medication, all is lost.May be someone has tried it,if so,lets hope they will respond.
There is always the injection system, might be easier.Albendazole-dosage of 10 milligrams per body weight.

doncorleone:no replies, well, you talked about deworming a pregnant goat, may be would be better if you talked to a vet first. If this is your first time deworming goat(s),personally I think you should get a vet to do it for you.Watch the vet,you will learn to do it the proper way.Should you wish to try and do it yourself, its your call.Tilt the goats head back, usually takes 2 people, may sure you have the correct dosage, you have to get the medication behind the back of the tongue, release slowly, make sure you are not getting the medication in the goats lungs.

sounds like your mind is made up,okay, maybe you will need 3 people to help as this is your first time. The drench gun is a syringe with no needle,am I correct. It will have cc numbers on the side, draw up the proper amount to the proper cc level with no air in the gun,if you have some air bubbles, draw the plunger down some more, tapp the side of the syringe, this forces the bubbles to the top, push the plunger until a little of the medication comes out of the end. With the goats mouth open, the back of the tongue is where the throat is located.Get the tip as close as possible to the back of the tongue, push the plunger slowly until all medication is gone.Hope the goat does not spit it all out, gets very expensive.Remember the goat will be very stressed, and not easy to control.I have never heard of the medication given between the check and the teeth, maybe Doc.Nemo knows.

Medication given in between cheek and teeth are water soluble or paste type medication. this is not economical because some of the medicine is wasted.
Ivomec is a good dewormer because it is a broadspectrum dewormer and it is for internal and external parasite

According to our manager the Fenbendazole is used for tape worms,Albendazole is a broad spectrum dewormer also good for tapeworms. The vet this week gave the goats an injection form of albendazole, and will deworm them monthly now by injection. One has to stay on top of the worm problem,or you will spend good money and have sick goats that do not put any weigh on their bones.Start deworming the kids at 1 month old.

i use valbazen and fendrench. im using a drenchig syringe.valbazen is also good for flukes
for pregnant i use rintal tablet.the problem with tablet is that they could throw it out of their mouth so be sure they really swallow it. use them on pregnant sheep accidentally but it cause no problems. they all gave birth no abortions.
i suggest before deworming that do fecalysis first.provincial and BAI offices do this service or private laboratory. so you can determine if the load of parasites in you goats needs deworming.
