Actually, mga ilang taon na nakalipas nag alaga na ko ng baboy at inahin. Nawalan po ako ng gana dahil parang lugi. Sa 4 n beses na i kong panganak nong dati o akong inahin and mga biik ay palaging nagtatate pag winalay. Ganito naman ang nangyari ngayon sa dalawa kong baboy at present ok na sila bakit po ganun lagi pag ako nag alaga laging nagtatae.

Doc. Nemo and for those expert around, My family decided to move back to the philippines this year so I'm looking for business that can generate income. For now I'm in serious consideration of STARTING a HOG/SWINE/PIGGERY,if funds will allow I also wanted to start a poultry. My problem is, I'm new to this business. I kind a gathered some important information from this forum but it seems not enough.

My biggest problem right now is the marketing since I have no contact as yet, I'm also considering about contract grower but I guess I need to be there (PI) to handle the application part.

Now, my last question is your honest opinion, would it be wise to start this kind business? let say if I have P3,000,000.00 in my pocket right now. To add my land area is 7 Hectars and lots of BAMBOOS.

Vitamins is usually given if the piglet is to be wean (walay).

Also, if sudden change of weather occurs or there is extreme weather condition... to hot or to cold then you could give vitamins.

But generally, commercial feeds do have vitamins included so giving vitamins is not necessary.

Doc nemo, i was searching for the effect of introducing vitamins on piglets and i found out some sources in the internet says that introducing vitamins to piglets have no effect in the growth/ performance of piglets , they conclude that injecting of IRON and good quality of sows milk during lactation and proper feeding of creep feeds and prestarter is enough for piglets. So i was wondering if their experiments/conclusion is true?

gusto ko po kasing mgstart na mg-alaga ng baboy...but i have no wide idea poh tlga, but im so interested to know...to be specific... gusto ko pong malaman kung ilang araw or buwan bago ako mgchange ng uri ng feeds ng baboy...mula sa pgkahiwalay nito sa inahin until sa makaabot na sya sa age na pwede ng e-dispose or gawing inahin din...

based on vitarich feeds, 7-35 days from birth gamit ka ng pig booster ( vitacreep ) , 35 -60 days old from birth gamit ka ng pig prestarter (vitawean) , 60days+  50kg feed/1sack hog starter premium/supreme plus/head then mag naubos na ung 50kg feed/1sack starter, punta ka na sa grower 100kg feeds/2sacks/head, then finisher 50kg feeds/1sack equivalent to 85+ kilos of hog pag ibenta mo dipende kung gaanu kaganda ang lahi ng baboy mo.
