Doc re sa APP vaccine, ano po recommended nyo na mas magandang gamitin? toxoid or bacterin? pag my cases po ba ng APP sa herd eh pede magbigay or mass vacc ng toxoid instead of bacterin?

Meron po tendency na bumalik if ung nagcacause ng prolapse eh bumalik ulit. Pag nagprolapse po ulit better na ibalik or treat nyo then sell it na lang.

Hindi po. You can use the lukewarm water to wash the prolapsed rectum then try to push it back inside. it woul be a lot easier.

Lahat po ng nabanggit ko eh broad spectrum antibiotics, long acting antibiotics is recommended like OTC.

Almost all of the antibiotic in the market are given parenterally. Common antibiotics are oxytetracycline, amoxiillin, penicillin, enrofloxacin, florfenicol at madami pa pong iba.

re Giving malunggay sa inahin would it be better if 1week before farrowing eh nagbibigay na ng malunggay? Kasi if during lactating pa magbibigay, it wil take time before magform or makatulong ang malunggay sa milk production ang mga chemical components ng malunggay, db? Curious lang.

Is Porcine Intestinal Adenomatosus the same with rectal prolapse (parang almoranas)?
We have a piglet (2 mos.) with a rectal prolapse..
A technician who visited our farm told us to to give a cold compress like ice to the prolapse rectum..
Is it okay? Is there anyway we can do to the prolapse rectum? We're afraid that if the prolapsed rectum turns black, we needed to dispose the piglet already?
Please do help us with the necessary solution..

PIA is different from Rectal prolapse. PIA is a intestinal disease cause by bacteria (par. Lawsonia spp.) while rectal prolapse is the protrusion of part the large intestine due to intestinal parasite or other factor na nagdudulot ng pressure sa abdomen ng hayop.

Re sa rectal prolapse, sometimes bumabalik po ito ng kusa as long na naaaddress ang nagccause nito. Sa akin po eh pinapractice kong ibalik ang prolapsed rectum. Cold compress is good pero ako i use luke warm water with sugar para madaling umimpis ang pamamaga. Then try to give parenteral antiobiotics.

Before eating mas maganda po kasi sayang po ang pakain especially kung we practice floor feeding. Nahahalo lang po sa dumi ang mga pakin kaya di na kakainin ng baboy. And di lang po sa loob ng kulungan nagtatapos ang paglilinis. Dapat pati mga drainage eh regular na nalilinis. Good na po ung once or twice a week na pagdisinfect ng pen.

Source po ng mga gases na ito ay sa dumi (tae at ihi) ng baboy mismo. Kapag hindi po nalilinis ng ayos ang mga kulungan at hindi maayos ang ventilation ng building, nagkakaroon po ng build up ng mga gases na ito. One way of checking kung may problema kau sa aspect na ito, pagpumasok po kayo sa kulungan eh maamoy nyo agad ito. Masakit sa ilong at nakakairita sa mata ang amoy. Kaya tulad po sa tao kailangan mamaintain ang clealiness ng pen at maayos ang ventilation ng building. Most of the time naooverlook ito ng mga mangangalaga especially sa backyard farming.

Kung target nyo po eh 100kg BW eh around 4-5mos po. Mas mabigat po mas maganda. Maganda pa din po kasi ang presyo ngayon eh. 

Tentative diagnosis ko nga po eh PRV or meningitis. Im still goin to check it doc kung may mga naibigay sila. DI ba po kung viral ang cuase is very rapid ang spread compared sa bacteria? Doc san po pede makakuha ng protocol re Diseases Outbreaks?

More on mngt aspect po kapag may mga tinatawag na sore eyes ang mga baboy. Usually po eh mataas na ammonia and other noxious gases sa loob ng kulungan ang nagcacause nito. Ito din sumisira sa lining ng respiratory tract ng baboy which can lead to respiratory diseases sa baboy. Ang pagkakaroon po ng ganito sa mata ng baboy ay usual indication po na may infection sa upper respiratory tract ng baboy.
