I am new in this forum and find it very educational and interesting. I would like to inquire and request for any information about coconut farming. I have about 1000 dwarf coconut trees planted a year ago in Guimaras and would like to know more about care and growing of this tree.

Could anyone furnish information about this?

Hi Doc,

Just arrived from the province of Guimaras and have decided to start raising hogs of about 10 heads in our farm. I planned to place the pen near a Tilapia pond (apprx. 200 sq. mtrs.), it is surrounded by 8 full grown mango trees and plenty of coconut trees and about 400 mtrs. from the shoreline.

My inquiry is would it be feasible to raise hogs on that area? East side is fishponds and the other sides are ricelands. During summer or beginning the month of November until May we produce salt on the East side (fishponds) part.

Doc, could you please provide me details on the How's and What's of Hog raising? How much does it cost?
