Sir PMI and Bmeg are both good feeds. To say one is better than other is a little bit difficult.
Another factor to decide what feeds to use is the after sales service of the feed manufacturer. Sometimes there are feed company that will provide technician to their customer. So ask Bmeg and PMI whether they have technician that could assist you in times of trouble.
You could ask also the dealer to what feed he or she prefers more. Which of this brand could give credit etc.
Next is try to survey your area which is more visible. Atleast it mean that this product is trusted by many.
After using a certain product try to assess whether you are contented or not with them. If not then you could try other products.

I will send you an article about swine raising and hope it would help you.
To be honest one of the reason kung bakit ko inilagay ang forum na ito ay for the OFW. Sila kasi ang may mga pera na napupunta lang sa wala dahil pinapadala lang nila ang kinikita nila sa pilipinas at pagdating dito hindi naman nagagamit ng maayos ng kanilang pamilya.
So by putting this site and hopefully maligaw sila dito ay makapag isip sila na magbusiness.
So, if you plan to go aboard maganda yan. Just before going to abroad turuan mo din ang maiiwan mo na pamilya about swine raising para pag andun ka na may magmamanage ng business mo dito. Kumikita ka na abroad at the same time kumikita pa ang perang pinapadala mo.

Mas maganda po na simulan po muna nilang mag alaga ng biik na palakihin para po matutunan nila by experience paano ba magpalaki ng baboy, mga dapat gawin etc. Kapag nasanay na sila at sa tingin nyo ang pag aalaga ng baboy ay akma sa para sa inyo. Saka naman po sila mag inahin. Para po kung sakaling dumating ang panahon na ang inyong inahin ay manganak at hindi mabenta ang iba dito kahit papaano ay marunon na kayong mag alaga ng palakihing baboy.

So far maganda ang takbo ng pagbababuyan sa pilipinas. Isang proof nito ay ang sobrang daming feed company na nagsusulputan ngayon. Ang pinoy ay mataas din na konsumo ng karneng baboy. At totoo din ang sinasabi mo na mgandang stress reliever ang mga baboy. Kung tatanungin mo ang nag aalaga ng baboy kung bakit nila ito ginagawa ang sinasabi nila ay para kumita ng konti at libangan na rin.
Kumpara sa bangko masmalaki ang kikitain mo sa pag aalaga ng baboy.
Yun nga lang dahil negosyo ito laging mayrisk. Pero katulad nga nang sinabi ng iba walang yumayaman sa pagiging trabahador kailangan maging negosyante tayo. Magsimula sa maliit at damihan ng sipag at dasal at naway umunlad tayong lahat.

It is difficult to say the difference. There are feeds that are expensive but with quality at the same time there are also feeds that are much cheaper but could give the same result.
As a starter you could try the feeds which is more common in your locality. Yun mas mabenta dyan sa inyo. Kasi it would mean na maganda ang record nito sa pagpapalaki ng baboy. At saka you could ask din sa dealer nyo kung yun feeds na bibilin ba nila meron technitian na pwedeng malapitan kapag mayproblem kayo. Also, you could try to ask mga raiser dyan kung ano ba ang gamit nila feeds at bakit yun ang ginamit nila. At after doing this i do believe magkakaidea kayo kung anong feeds ang magandang bilin.

Demand for pork is ever increasing. The philippines consume pork more than any other type of meat. A proof of growing business of the hog industry is the proliferation of different feed manufacturer. If you will put your money in the bank it will earn about 3-7 percent per annum. BUt if you put your money in swine raising you could earn about 20-50 percent per annum. Return of investment is from 2 to 3 years. But some backyard raiser have an ROI of 1 year due to high demand of pork this last election.

Sa mga kulig ho ay hindi magandang ipakain ang mga tira tirang pagkain sa dahilang maseselan pa po ang tiyan nito. Ang pagkain ng tira tirang pagkain ay maaaring maging sanhi ng pagtatae nito. Sa mga grower na baboy naman ay ayos lang na magpakain nito. Dpat lang na iluto ito ng mabuti upang ang mga mikrobyo nito ay mamatay.
Ang mga baboy na pinapakain ng kanin baboy ay kalimitan matataba at hindi ganon kabilis lumaki. Pag dating kasi sa nutrisyon ay hindi ito balanse.
Pagdating kasi sa pagkain masmainam po kasi ang commercial feeds dahil ito ay masbalanse at akma.

Magtanong po muna sila sa barangay kung maaaring maglagay ng poultry sa inyong lugar at kung ano anong mga papeles ang kailangang para rito.
Ang kulungan ng manok ay kailangan po na sapat ang sukat nito sa ilalagay natin dami ng manok. Kalimitan po 1 square feet per bird po ang batayang ginagamit. At iwasan po natin ilagay ang kulungan sa lugar na laging nabubulobog sila. dapat din po na lilim ang lugar na paglalagyan nito.
Kailangan din po nilang siguraduhing may steady supply ng tubig at feeds ang ating manukan. Ang feeds na ating kukunin ay dapt yun laging available sa market.
Kumuha lang po tayo ng mga sisiw sa mga kilalang distributor sa ating lugar. Maaari po silang magtanong tanong sa lugar nila sa mga kapwa nag aalaga ng manok kung saan sila nakakakuha nag sisiw.
Masmaganda po na magsimula lang sila sa konting bilang ng sisiw at kapag naging bihasa na sila dito maaari na silang magpagawa ng malalaking building para sa manok at mag apply para contract grower sa iba't-ibang company na may contract grower.

May mga inahing baboy nahihirapan manganak lalo pa kung ito ay unang pagkakataon para sa kanila.
KUng ay baboy ay nahihirapan maaaring hagurin ang tiyan nito upang makatulong sa pag labas ng mga kulig o biik na nasa tiyan nito.
Kung lumabas na ang unang biik at halos 30 minuto na ay wala pa rin lumalabas na kasunod na kulig mas nararapat na tumawag na sila ng beterinaryo o may kaalaman tungkol sa pagbababuyan.
sa mga ganitong sitwasyon kalimitan ay dinudukot ang kulig sa loob ng inahin. Sa pagdukot ang kamay ay nililinis ng mabuti at naglalagay ng sabon o oil para ito dumulas at saka dahan dahan ipinapasok sa pwerta ang kamay upang kapain kung meron baboy o kulig na nakabara sa daanan.
May iba naman na nagbibigay ng gamot na oxytocin upang lumakas ang paghilab ng tiyan ng baboy. Ngunit tandaan natin na kung malakas naman umire ang inahin at ala lang talagang kulig na lumalabas mas magandang dukutin ito kesa bigyan ng gamot.
Mas nirerekomenda na dukutin ang kulig sa pwerta ng inahin kapag ito ay umiire sa dahilang ang pagbibigay ng oxytocin dito ay maaaring makasira sa daaanan ng kulig. Kung ito kasi ay umiire mas malaking ang tsansiya na nakabara lang ang baboy at walang problema ang inahin sa contraction ng mga muscle nito para sa panganganak.

Candle Making
Materials:
* Plain Paraffin Wax ( about 1/2 a pound) can be found at grocery stores & craft shops * Double Boiler or you can use a large coffee can for melting wax in, inserted in a pot filled half full of water. (Never place the container of wax directly on the heat source as it poses a severe fire hazard.) * Wooden Spoon for stirring * Bowls: for cold water baths * Candle Thermometer. Also candy or meat thermometer works just as well. * Heat. Kitchen stove. * Wick: available in most craft and hobby stores in various sizes. The size of the wick is important. The sizes increase in 1/2 inch variations. Use this as a guide. 1/2" wick to 1/2" candle. A 1" wick is suitable for a 1" candle etc. * Color: you can get it in cakes,chips, powdered or liquid forms which is usually available in craft stores or you can also use crayons but it doesn't burn as well. * Scents: you can use fragrance oil or concentrated chips available at craft shops. The oil you use must be pure oil and have no water or alcohol base.
Directions for making hand dipped candles:
1. Begin by cutting up your wax in small pieces so it will melt quicker.
2. Next heat the water using a medium temperature, bring to a gentle boil. Place the wax in the double broiler or if you are using a coffee can place the can into the water.
* Don't use high heat, it may cause the wax to catch on fire.
3. Stir the wax until it is completely melted and it reaches a temperature of 160 F or 71 Celsius.(Test the temperature by placing the thermometer in the center of the melted liquid). Turn the heat down. Keep water warm enough to keep the wax melted.
4. Now its time to add your color. Add the crayons or color chips to the melted wax. Add a little at a time until you have reached the desired shade. Make note that the wax changes colors to a shade lighter when it cools. Test it by allowing a spoonful to dry on a plate. Once you have the shade you like, it would be a good idea to write down the amounts you have used so you can make it again.
5. You can now add the scent if you wanted scented candles. The more oil you use, the stronger the scent will be. Keep in mind that adding too much may affect the way the candle burns, moderation is the key to having nicely scented candles. Stir until well blended.
6. Make sure the wax stays melted. Check that the temperature of the wax is still 160F/71 C.
7. Now on to the next stage. Begin with cutting the wick to the desired length of candles plus a little extra to hold. Example: If you want 2 ten inch candles cut about 23 inches of wick. You will be making two at the same time. Double over the wick over your finger. Here's where the dipping starts. Dip the wick in the wax for a few seconds then lift back out. Allow the wax to cool between dippings about a minute or so. You may find it a little tricky to get started at first because the wick floats on top of the wax until it gets weighed down. Don't worry before long you'll get the hang of it. Just make sure the wet candles don't touch each other.
8. Continue the dipping and cooling process. After a few layers, although not necessary, you can speed up the cooling process by dipping the candles in cool water after each wax dip.
9. Repeat the process until the candles have reached the proper thickness. If lumps occur, roll warm candles on a smooth surface.
10. Increase the temperature until it reaches 182 F. Dip the pair into the wax one more time for a few seconds. Lift out then let them cool.
11. Using a sharp knife trim the bottoms to remove excess wax and to create a straight edge bottom for you candles.
12. Hang your candles to dry. Once they are dried you can cut the wick. Time to enjoy your new creation!
Safety tips for candle making
1. Never leave children alone with melting or melted wax. Because it does not boil or steam, they may not realize how hot it is.
2. Never leave hot wax alone.
3. Never heat wax over 275° F, wax flashes from liquid to flame at 375° F.
4. Never let wax come in contact with flames. If you develop a wax fire, treat it as you would a grease fire. Do not throw water on it. Use a fire extinguisher (type ABC) or if it is contained in a pan, cover with a lid, extinguish any heat source and leave the lid in place until the area has cooled.
5. Use a temperature gauge and always know what the temperature is at all times.
6. Always use the water bath method of melting wax, never place your wax container directly on the heat source. Also, use a wire rack to keep the wax container from resting on the bottom of the water pan. Keep a close watch on the water level, it will evaporate quickly and must be replenished frequently. When done this way and properly supervised, you will eliminate any flash potential.
7. Don't pour wax down the drain, it will block them.

FISH BALLS
Materials needed:
1 kilo fish (lapu-lapu, talakitok, apahap, maya-maya, or carp) 2 carrots 2 potatoes 1 head garlic 2 eggs 3/4-1 1/4 cups cornstarch ginger, pepper, salt, vetsin and soysauce Utensils: Kitchen knife Chopping board Measuring cups Strainer Ladle Frying pan Kettle Stove Jars/bottles
Procedure: 1. Boil fish for 3-5 minutes in water with ginger. 2. Strain and put in a container. Remove the heads entrails, skin and bones. Flake the fish. 3. Peel and chop the carrots, onions, garlic and potatoes. Mix and combine with the fish flakes. 4. Grind. Add the eggs, salt, pepper, vetsin and cornstarch. 5. Mash and form into balls. 6. Boil fish stock. Drop fish ball one by one into the boiling fish stock. Drain. 7. Deep fry in hot oil.Vitamin C Makes Pigs Grow Faster, Bigger 8. Store in sterilized bottles, add 2% brine solution (1 tsp. salt for every 4 cups water). 9. Cover and boil for 1½ hours. 10. Store for 12 days.
