I have already emailed you the article.

Start muna po sila sa mga biik para masanay ang kanilang caretaker sa mga baboy. Start small, think big.

Then after one harvest/bentahan ng baboy at sanay na ang inyong caretaker sa mga baboy ay mag start na sila sa inahin. Dahan dahan ang bili ng inahin. Kung target nyo is 20 sow, then every month buy lang sila ng 5 sow until macomplete nila yun 20 sow level. This is to give way sa magandang rotation ng production and to maximize yun budget.

Sir Genie,

May i ask, are you the distributor of ACE feeds and Robina in Bataan?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bro., I am not.  I'm just an ordinary neophyte farmer with small operation still trying to learn more about the business.

I believe, we can do a bit of a cooperation about the farm gate pricing if we only know the prevailing price around us.  Most of the time, (in our own locality) price is being dictated by biyaheros or vendors.  Although, supply and demand should be the prime factor but biyaheros tend to twist that always to their advantage.

I am not sure if it is the maximum fee that they would offer. I am not in any way connected to them eh.
You could try to email dok929 about the details and maybe you could introduce your company to them.

If you like you could post another topic about your company's contract grower and i would put it in sticky post . So everyone who would visit this site could easily see it.

PO or IM vitamins which ever you prefer to give.  IV vitamins are difficult to give so refrain from using it.
Most IM vitamins for swine is also okay for goat.

There are flooring which are plastic used for dogs and sometimes it also used in livestock. Usually it is available in large poultry supply. There are also "Mik plastic" that are much expensive but more durable.

Skyrocketing milk prices hit families just in time for school

August 10, 2007
By Thom Patterson
CNN

CANTON, Georgia (CNN) -- Record-high milk prices are stinging Americans at the dairy case, just as millions of thirsty school children are returning to classes.

The average retail price of a gallon of whole milk has never been higher -- $3.80 a gallon -- according to July Department of Agriculture statistics. Experts blame the price spike -- up 51 cents since February -- on milk shortages in Europe and Australia.

Prices are approaching $5 a gallon in Georgia, where on a sweltering summer day last week, about 100 children and parents toured Mark Cagle's dairy farm north of Atlanta.

Tim and Beth Byington wrangled their two preschool children around the farm, surrounded by mooing Holsteins.

As per my opinion don't bother to check the weight of your animal per stage. In the end of the day it is the final weight which is important. The animal should weight at least around 85 kgs above or at least you have an 10% or more  profit.

It does not usually follows that if you have a big animal you will earn big also.

Although for scientific purposes i would just post later on the ideal weight per stage of animal. This is according to the feed manufacturer. I do not have the copy of it with me right now, so post it later.

average price (premium feeds):
booster 100-200 pesos per kilo
prestarter 1000-1200 per 25 kgs
starter 950-1100 per 50 kgs
grower 850-1000 per 50 kgs
finisher 800-950 per 50 kgs

Some product maybe much cheaper or expensive. This is just a rough estimate of the leading brands. There are more than 500 feedmillers in the philippines and they have different prices and it is very difficult to give an accurate average.

It would help if everybody could post their current feed price, brand and area.

Do visit this link about the farms in laguna and rizal Swine Farms in the Philippines

Haven't heard of it but if it is true and someone produce it commercially/synthetically then it is another source of income for them.
