Doc, thanks,because of our location we are limited,realize now we must find our own market in Cebu.Transportation will be a key part of the operation,a large livestock carrier maybe a bonus.

Dr. Nemo,how true location.location.location,I see our main problem is not having the transportation to deliver the livestock to Cebu.Not sure if we can get 1500.00 for a 45 day old piglet,like I have said we can only get 1400.00 for a 2 1/2 to 3 month old piglet now,the school teacher in the town told me a 45 day old piglet is worth 1500.00,on the other hand they are only worth what someone is willing to pay you for them.Now I need to find a buyer in Cebu,one can always rent a truck in the short term to deliver the stock.On the other hand maybe poor business management on our part,have a new manager now,time will tell

Dr. Nemo,well.we sure are not making the money,a 2 1/2-3 month old pig we get 1,400.00 pesos each,someone is making money and it is not us,if not the farmer,then who,the middleman is the only other one left.

Mr Hog,almost forgot to tell you,when my sister in law and husband and helper went to Cebu to pick up Lucky (boer buck goat),that was an American goat farm,they raised white chickens there for eggs.,they are doing a good business with the eggs,they sell them in Cebu,fresh eggs,The wife and I might try that also,we have turkeys so some chickens will be no problem,they feed them goat concentrates,just something I thought to pass on to you,Dr. Nemo,how are you?? Boys,you miss me lol,after talking things over with the wife (the brains of the operation) hehehe,many long distance phone calls,weekly inspections,we find out we have more sows than we knew.Shaving a fews bucks off the top I can live with,but paying for hogs that we get no share of when sold is going alittle to far now,we now have 31 sows,they never sold the sows as I told them to do.Want to try and use Dr. Nemos formula (home made) in 2008,the only part we cannot find in our little village is the protein part of it,Think if we locate a feed company in Cebu hope to buy that in bulk (protein part) and make our own hog crumble,I would think it would be cheaper,maybe takes alittle longer too fatten them up,have to try it first,a man who never took a chance had a chance.

DR. Nemo,one of our anglos died suddenly,he was healthy that day,sometime during the night he cried alot and was shaking,we did change his concentrates,maybe grain overload,goat polio or bloat,I do not think bloat,by the time we bought the drugs for him he was dead,less than 24 hours later,what do you think he died from,he cried.sounds like he was in pain,the shaking not sure of.maybe something else??,anyways we burned him because not sure what he died from,thought this is the best way to dispose of the carcass when one is unsure of the problem.

Mr Hog,saw your video,really cool,heard your rooster in the background,your barn is much more open than ours,ours on the sides is all bamboo,vertical close together,think yours is a little better set up,ours is 8x 8 pens divided,3 pigs in each one,in each section 28 x 32 we had 30 hogs.with large water tanks for easy cleaning,we do not have as much metal as you have,do not understand what those orange holders are.

Dr. Nemo,great advise as always,not sure what a feed mixer looks like,we own the local welding shop,if we knew what it looks like maybe we could build our own feed mixer,but I think it would be easier to buy a new cement mixer. Thanks again            Good Day To You          mikey
