This is a portable biogas digester. It have 3 plastic drums as digester and about  6 storage drum. These prototype is currently in display at the ITDI_DOST compound.

We have a sow at 60 days old pregnant for her 7th parity.. May white discharges ang vulva halos every other day for 2 weeks na..
Since Bawal naman mag inject ng antibiotic or  to give orally, ano po ba ang dapat na lunas dito ? Nabasa ko dito ang flushing ng peniccilin
( penstrepp) sa forum natin. Is it safe to do this to my sow? Shall we add water to antibiotic in syringe or purely antibiotic at E- flush
ito inside the sow's vulva ?
UTI is contageous decease, is it possible na nahawa na ang boar namin ? Marami pa naman gilts ang pinag gamitan ng Boar .

At last my 3 F1 Gilts with deficiencies were replaced today by Luz Farm. It took 38 days before the replacement were done.
With some exchanges of pros and cons on email messages. But I loss already financially and time for 38 days of feeding the gilts including
the vaccines and meds. Mahirap talaga pag di ikaw ang pumipili sa breeder farm at derecho deliver sa location mo. Next time, ayoko na ibaba
lang ang gilts without checking the condition before they unload. That's my lesson and experience being a new backyarders.

I agree with Doc Nemo at sau Babuylover. As long as we meet the forecasted target date and liveweight of market hogs natin at alam mo ang genetics ng alaga mo.

Ako naman ay iba ang pagka intiende ko.
Example :
           LR X LW = F1
       
           F1 X LW = F2
           F1 X LR  = F2

           F1 X Duroc or DurocPietren = market hogs
           F2 x Duroc or DurocPietren = market hogs

Kahit may laman ang kulungan ha?? Mga ilang ml ang ihalo na zonrox sa liters  na tubig? Para ka palang naglabada ka nito... he...hee..he...

Salamat Doc, Subukan namin ang F2 na gawin inahin at mag update na lang me regarding sa developement later on.
Ito ba ang F2 Gina backcross to get pure line again ?

Pag may laman ang kulungan, puede ba gumamit ng chlorine at wala ba side effects ito sa alaga natin ?

pwede naman po tabo at timba lang ang gamitin kapag chlorine ang disinfectant nyo.


yun iba po kasi every cycle na lang nagdidisinfect/ kada mabakante ang kulungan nagdidisinfect sila.

Im Planning to buy F2 Gilts from a known Breeding Farm. Im going to cross breed with Duroc Terminal Boar.
Ang outcome ba ng slaughter hog ay maging maayos naman in terms of market weight within 5 months from birth ?

Sa location namin, walang mabili na PG 600.
We have been using Gonadin to Gilts or Sow na matagal lumandi ( more than 14 days )
otherwise magka traffic sa Farrowing Pen.
In my observation, meron mga naga reheat at meron din natuloy ang pagbuntis.
Siguro nasa timing lang ang pagpasampa ng barako.
In terms of anak naman, depende siguro sa panahon. Nagkaroon kami ng 4 lang ang anak
at ang iba ay not less than10 naman.
Ang kailangan talaga ay timing at malamig na panahon sa pagbabarako o A.I. para di mag reheat.

kung ala naman tatamaan ibang bakuna 3 weeks before farrowing saka sila mag ecoli then 1o days before farrowing  saka sila mag deworm.

better kasi na 7-14 days ang agwat ng bakuna at depende pa rin sa klase ng bakuna yun. ibang usapan din po kung malapit nang manganak
