starting an egg farm

Gud day doc and everyone!
I'm a 4th year college student and Im planning to start a business before I graduate this April. My father suggested eggs/poultry. Im planning to focus on eggs since i love to bake. I already have a building to house the hens, and I studied a bit on the details of how to take care of them etc., but I still have no idea as to the specifics of what the cages for the hens should be. If I construct them myself, what should it be made of and what are the suggested dimensions; or, If there are any here in Iloilo or panay, where can i buy the ready-made chicken coops, and how much would they cost?
Thanks a lot!

This might be of some help to you. When we ordered our day old laying chicks from a hatchery in Cebu, arrived with information on how to care and feed for the chicks and also how to build the cages.Four birds to a cage with a plastic angled floor to roll the eggs away from the chickens and easier to collect the eggs.
Maybe you could ask the hatchery that you plan to order your chicks from for any information related to egg production.
hope this helps

To be honest yan ang isa sa pinaka mahirap sagutin na tanong.
I will give na lang same idea.
Sa broiler naman , one time deal, it is either lugi ka after 35-45 days or kikita ka after 35-45 days. Pero currently lugi ang liveweight price ng manok ngayon....
Kung meron kang sariling tindahan maganda na siguro na ikaw na magtinda ng itlog. 2 weeks naman bago masira ang mga ito.
Sa poultry whether layer or broiler mabilis kang yayaman or mabilis kang magiging pulubi...
