To further widen his horizon, he attended continued education certificate programs at PSI (Purposeful Stewardship Institute) in Makati. After several years of working at various farm projects -- growing fruits and vegetables, and raising livestock and free range native chickens the natural and organic way -- Warren Tan is now a most sought-after consultant in the creation and building of completely sustainable natural and organic farms in the country. His definition of organic is simply sustainable, natural and zero chemical. He abhors those farming romantics who lack a disciplined focus on the bottom line. He stresses instead an entrepreneurial approach; that is, by being pragmatic and practical always -- whether the project is small or large. He suggests, one must always ask, “Where is the money in all of this?"
