fighting is how goats determine rank and status in your goat herd.Sometimes when you introduce a new goat into the herd, fighting may take place, its best to let the fight take place,as this is normal for goats and the herd.Actually it is common for does that had recently kidded or right before kidding to try and upgrade their ranking and status in order to secure a higher status for her kids.Trying to keep does apart that want to fight, will only prolong the inevitable. Its in a goats nature.Sometimes goats will also take sides in a fight.Once a winner is decided, status clarified in the herd, they will no longer fight.
