Pero doc ok lang na befor farrowing nlang magdeworm sa sow?Or advisable talga na before farrowing and after weaning? Then pag nadeworm na yung sow before farrowing ilang days bago i-deworm yung piglet?

The purpose of deworming before farrowing is so that the piglet will not be infected by the mother/ the mother would not passed parasite to its piglets.

So the best practice is before farrowing and after weaning.

You could deworm 1 week after weaning.

Personally, i deworm and give vitamins during weaning day.

Enviromental factors should be considered also. Including but not limited to soil/pen, feeds, bugs, rats, bangaw, water source etc.

So, you are trying to eliminate all possibilities, even dewormed animal are still possible carrier of ova's of worms.

meron po akong 3 inahin na bagong panganak nito lang pong July 29 to 31 nanganak.... actually i'm still at a lost kung pano ang proper management sa inahin at sa piglet kasi po nabili ko lang po ung mga inahin ko sa monterey na buntis na early july of this year... actually nagsara na sila dito sa area namin(Alfonso, Cavite) kaya binenta na lahat inahin nila.... luckily nakakuha po ako ng tatlo... ung 2 po eh pang 3rd parity na and ung 1 eh pang 2nd parity na.. now i would like to ask po sana ng mga reading materials that will guide me in managing both the inahin at mga biik nila(vaicinnation, feeding,etc..).... please send naman po sa email ko dhongvirreyjr@yahoo.com.... will appreciate a lot kung matutulungan nyo po ako... maraming salamat po doc nemo at mabuhay po kayo...

Hi Doc,
The vaccination of piglets on Mycoplasma ( Pfizer Respisure ) was delayed for 3 days due to rains
of thypoon Kiko. My question is , shall we still follow the 2 weeks apart as per prescription of the
vaccine ? Or we will follow the original sked ? 3 days lang ang pagitan because of rains.
Thanks.
