i doc! would just like to ask if the P535.92/piglet harvested is the maximum fee to be paid by monterey to its growers?

our company is currently looking for contract growers and breeders for our pigs. we will provide the stocks, vet. med., vaccines, technical support, feeds and regular visits by our pig health specialist.
the partner will provide the building, manpower, electricity and water...

if there are interested people, we will present our growers or breeders scheme to them and we will visit their farms for site inspection.

thank you very much...

Hi Doc,

Ako po si Ken, from Cebu.. 22 years old and I'm planning to start a piggery business. Please HELP Smiley

Gusto ko po sanang mag start ng piggery business.. May good location po kami at cage na pwedeng gamitin.. I was thinking of starting about 10 fatterners, then questions ko lng po are here :

*How much po ba mgagastos ng feeds for the 90 days cycle?

*How to sell or market my hogs? "IF" there are companies na bibli ng hogs.. what are those?

*What are the feeds to be used as the time goes by for Hogs? D ba may iba't ibang feeds na pinapakin at vitamins na tinitira sa kanila.. What are those?

*Lastly, d ba ako malulugi kung mag susweldo ako ng tao na mag aalaga sa 10 fatteners ko let's just say for 3 months? at P2,000 a month?(ang sweldo ng tao Doc, ay pwde ko lang e waived into my own salary and consider it as personal expenses ko po.)

Doc, if meron po kayong feasibility study ng piggery business that would be a big help and also, please answer my doubts and confusions above. Here's my email.. mendozaken22@gmail.com

Thanks and more power!

@dwinks,

personally kasi mas kampante ako sa swine.

ang analogy ko kasi na laging sinasabi ay ang poultry high gain and high risk, ang swine moderate gain and moderate risk.

@kenneth mendoza check your mail for other details...

in terms po ng marketing  usually meron biyahero ang umiikot sa mga area area lalo na kung alam nilang meron mga baboy dun. or minsan meron pang middle man na naghahanap ng buyer for you and babayaran mo sila 50 peso per animal or minsan 1 peso per kilo.

sa 10 kasi na alaga kung kukuha ka ng tagapag alaga medyo alanganin na yun kita mo. ang range ng kita per baboy is 500 pesos to as high as 2000. kung 1000 lang kinita mo per baboy at 6000 pa ang bayad boy then 4t na lang natira sa inyo... add to that wala kang assurance na aalagaan nilang mabuti yun animal.

ang pinakada best so far ko na nakikitang system is yun paiwi ... kung saan hati kayo sa kita. ikaw provide feeds animal and gamot then ang taga alaga ang magprovide ng housing tubig kuryente then kapag nabenta na  ibabawas ang gamot, feeds and animal then hati na kayo sa matitirang kita.
