Mr Hog,you are right.I am not sure what some have written.I sort of guess some are asking about what I said about the white hog.Friends who have eaten the white hog in the Philippines,told us that there is a difference in the taste of the white hog in the Phils and in Canada.As for the native hog,there are people who wish to buy one,maybe they like the taste,most likely its the price.Native hogs are fatty.There is a small local demand for native hog in this area,not many natives around anymore,farmers have switched to the whites.This is what I was talking about.

do you know why filipino pipol dont like the taste of white hog? im in the hog bizniz for 14 years and i know what filipino pipol like to taste hindi lang po native pig dyan ka nagkamali their a secret formula for that hehehehehehe .ito ang tanong ko  sa iyo  how much is chicken ? fish? beef? and vege? today hmmmmmmmmmm kaya tumaas ang PRICE its because of HIGH PRODUCTION COST.kaya lang bumababa ang presyo natin its because of pork importation.big processors want to import so that they can earn huge profit. do you know why some part of the country doesn't change their price? its because  @@@@@@@      do your homework first

do you know why filipino pipol dont like the taste of white hog? im in the hog bizniz for 14 years and i know what filipino pipol like to taste it's not only the native pig, their is a secret formula for that. This is my question for you, how much is chicken , fish, beef and vege today? Prices are going high becaus of high cost of production. The only reason that prices goes down is because of pork importation, Big processors want to import so that they can earn huge profit. Do you know why some part of the country doesn't change their price? its because @@@@@@ do your homework first.

do you know why filipino pipol dont like the taste of white hog?

trans= why do pinoy don't like white hogs?

their a secret formula for that = Ano po ba ang secret formula
trans=what is the secret formula.

do you know why some part of the country doesn't change their price? = Bakit nga po ba
trans=Why is it?

bakit lahat ng processors going SOUTH ?  lahat ng feedmill going to south also?

trans= Why is all processors going to SOUTH?  why all feedmill going to south also? =i think this is the only one i can answer. The reason why they go to south, the processor and feedmill is because there is less diseae and pollution there. And as you have said gensan is 2nd in terms of swine industry.

do you know why filipino pipol dont like the taste of white hog?=why do pinoy don't like white hogs

trans= because that pork meat is now lean that pinoy doesnot like to eat commercial pig. Who do want to eat lean meat isn't it also the pinoy. hehehehe. we don't want fatty pigs from commercial farm but we have gusto to eat native pig. WE ARE THE BIGGEST IMPORTER OF FAT (hotdog) and skin. I know what my consumer want.

doncorleone answered:

trans: I'm confused, what you said is contradicting. PINOY DON'T WANT TO EAT WHITE HOGS BECAUSE THEY ARE LEAN AND ALSO PINOY WANTS LEAN MEAT? DON'T LIKE TO EAT COMMERCIAL PIG BUT EATS HEAVILY OF NATIVE. Do you mean that our hogs should have a lineage of native? Would you like to share it more for you have more experience compared to us?

slyfox answered:

trans:  before, we pinoy always complain that commercial hogs are fat. So commercial raiser raised leaned hogs. now that they are lean pinoy don't want to eat them because they are not tender and juicy, ironic isn't it.

it is not the native you need to raise. there is a secret formula for purebreed and highbreed pigs to retain tenderness and juicincess of the pig.

secret formula,should I laugh now or later,with most livestock flavour is determined by fat,fat gives meat tenderness and flavour.Breed also plays a part.Fat is very unhealthy for ones heart.What a animal eats also plays a role.Well if you have a secret formula,good for you.Slyfox,in business it is commonly known as having an edge.The consumer will always look at the price(s) before buying.Consumers are driven by the cost factor,when the prices are too expensive,they will switch to something cheaper.Our hogs are fed natural foodstuffs,puts them in the line of more organic,does not translate into higher profits in the Philippines.One of the reasons for breeding the white hog,produce a leaner muscle animal.Some feed their hogs vitamin c to help keep the back fat leaner.If the native hog is more expensive to buy,well then good for us,we should make more profits in the long run.
