Title: Premix such as PrimeMeat and Paylean Post by: genie_ps on August 02, 2007, 08:45:03 PM Hi. I am a new member of this site and I am glad I found it. I have a small farm and I'd like to know if the use of above premixes have been found beneficial by any member. I have been often times asked by customers/meat dealers why I haven't been mixing premixes like the above. I have so far read so much on the net about Paylean and it seems to be very encouraging. However, I still would like to hear a 2nd opinion from this site. The other "prime meat" (not sure of this name), has been commonly used by small scale farmer and it is a lot cheaper than Paylean. Is that good enough? Any advise please.

There are some company that do have feeds with meat enhancer so no need to add, just ask them. They are also some companies that will custom mix this meat enhancer for you as long as you will order in bulk. But still genetics should be consider. Chopseuy pig might have a 50/50 result compared to those who is genetically superior pig. |
