Does anyone have any idea of farmgate prices for native/upgrade hogs.Or do you just follow the farmgate prices listed here as a guide.

The usual trend is that june to september price goes down then october to may price goes up.

Peak season is November -December, April-May,  election season.

this year its a diff story maybe our price will be steady high because china is having an olympic games

There are 2 federations,one for the commercial sector,Hog Federation and BHORS,for us Independant and backyard producers.The Hog Federation price list is for the membership only,is not given to us Independant and backyard producers.I have been informed that one may realize a P5.00-P10.00 price difference per kilo liveweight if not a member of the Hog Federation,this varies from region and location and your market.Where does, where one comes from have any importance,sounds like RACISM at its finest.Chill out.For your information,the Philippines is DEPENDANT on FOREIGN CAPITAL,ask your own GOVERNMENT.

I want to shed some light on the issue of the 5-10 peso difference. It is normal in this country that as you buy bulk or sell bulk you will be given incentive.

The price of commercial farm (whether you are a member of the hog federation or not) is most of the times 5-10 pesos higher. Reason behind this is that the biyahero or middleman will have steady supply of hogs from the commercial farm. This steady supply is what the backyard cannot provide.

Example. If a truck with a 30 pig capacity  will go to a commercial farm in just a matter of minutes to an hour they can already proceed to the abattoir or meat processing plant because the farm can supply them 30 at a given time.

While in a backyard situation most of the time they will go to one piggery pick up 10 pigs then go to another piggery pick another 10 etc... So it would be time consuming, labor consuming, and add the gasoline to the travel cost.

I do not agree that there is a 5-10 difference but the law of supply and demand is controlling it. So, like what i always say, to address this problem start within your community. Build a cooperative or try to gather all swine raisers in your area and ask them to sell at a particular price only or ask them to sell it to a particular biyahero. And ask that particular biyahero that he/she could be the exclusive buyer of your area as long as he/she will pay at a commercial price level.

How can we use the price that is posted here for our advantage. Let say in bulacan it state that the price is 105-118 so minus -5 that would be 100 to 113. The average is 106.5, so if possible don't go below this price. Although backyard price in bulacan today is 107. So, commercial price would be our barometer. There are still many ways to consider on selling your hogs but it is still best that atleast you have a ball park figure of the current liveweight price.

Now i see. If you are on the shoes of the biyahero or middleman, will you buy the hogs of backyard at 93-100 pesos (cebu gate price)? Ofcourse  not coconut!! I would rather buy it on lower price. :) ;) :D ;D

Bro bakit bumababa ang hog farm gate price pero sa market hindi pa din nagbabago ng price?

I guess nadadagdagan na supply ng baboy dahil nakaka recover na ibang farms.  Ang mga tindero naman ayaw bumitaw sa tubo nila kasalukuyan sa mga palengke.  However, ang mga meat shops I believe bumaba na ng konti kumpara sa palengke. 

Sold yesterday here in Bataan area few heads at 115/kg.

I find this site really helpful and I've learned more tips on swine raising.  Btw, I just want to share some of my experiences when it comes to selling the fatteners.  Our buyers here in Rizal want a 70 per kilo but of course, we cannot give in to their request.  The main problem is that some of the hog raisers in our area sell their fatteners at 70 per kilo eventhough they have no profit at all. :-[ They said they have no choice but to sell it at this very disappointing price to support the production costs of the other remaining hogs. I think they have to lessen the number of hogs they've been taking cared of.

Hope we receive any feedback from you re hog farm gate price as of this month coz we have no idea as to how much is the price per kilo of a live weight fattener after NCR & other nearby provinces have been tremendously hit by typhoon "Ondoy".  There's a lack of supply of pork as we are nearing the holiday season but as far as I know there will be an importation of pork in China, about 20,000 tons.

It's been a while since the farm gate prices were last updated.  Perhaps it would be better if others can share an updated prices even if it would only be for a particular area that they know.  I believe that it would somehow be beneficial for some if not for all who frequently monitors this forum in particular.  I'm from the Rizal area and I would really appreciate it very much if somebody could share an updated Hog Farm gate price for this area. Last month I was able to sell for 95 pesos.  Thanks and Best Regards!

Dahil po yung baboy namin ay nagweight po ng more than 100.. They asked to lower the LW to 92..

IT is enrollment period and Filipino tries to save as much as possible that they lessen their consumption of meat and other expensive products. Aside  from enrollment they try to save for school supplies, uniforms and others...

I also noticed that when the LW is low the buyers tend to buy the fatteners with weight ranging from 70 - 80..
When the fatteners are already ranging from 90 and above they request to lessen the price..
Same thing with the fatteners are weighing less than 70, they asked to lessen the price..

29 of our fatteners were sold yesterday for LW=95.
We hope that next month we could sell the next batch of fatteners (21) to a good selling price..

Yup, they tend to buy smaller hogs because their customer (wet market/stall) prefer this size, para hindi sila matirhan at maubos agad nila. Dahil nga matumal benta mas gusto nila yun masmaliit na animal.

 Yun less and above na discount ginagawa  nilang pangbawi sa tumal ng benta. kasi again yun nasa market tawad din ng tawad. Yun below kasi sa 70 kgs usually kasi interms of ratio and proportion mabigat pa yun internal organs and alam natin natin na mas mura ito compared sa laman. Kapag over laki naman tumatagi ang customer (wet market/stall) na bilin kaya ang tendency nagrerequest din sila ng discount para kunin ito.

I also think some of the buyers buy hogs before the price gots higher
so that they could keep their hogs and sell it during the day/week they could sell it with better price..
I noticed that because during the day a hauler buy our fatteners (May 29, LW=95) only few of them were marked (minamarkahan using blade).
Then the next day (May 30, LW=105), I heard that the LW went higher to 10 pesos.
Too bad I already sold our fatteners  :( :( :(

I just want to confirm why Pig buyers in Bacolod never practiced this method of Live weight buying instead they are making it mata mata (Estimate). I am a small time back yard fatteners. I have 10 fatteners and ready to be dispose with in this month but sad to say today this unscrupulous buyers (butchers) (not runners) went to our farm and estimated value of 50 thousand pesos for 10 heads? I normally practicing what the commercial feeds advices to their customer. I used excel products from pre starter to finishers and its almost 5 months old from birth now.My rough estimate weight maybe will not below 80kg/head. My farm is in Alangilan 8 kms. from Bacolod. And we almost spent 53 thousands pesos but then They are trying to buy our fatteners for 50t.

If anybody from this board who are from Bacolod please help. I am new to this business and just learnt some knowledge thru Sir NEMO advices.

mata mata is the worst kind of trading in hog business.

Always ask for a scale or if not possible  Atleast know your expenses then add 10% to it, then that would be the lowest offer that you should accept.. so in your case

53000 +5300 = 58,300... again lowest ito especially kapag gipitan.
But currently around 20-40 percent is the average earnings.

So, the technique is asked them for a higher price (around 25%) then for sure they will to barter again. And through this bartering hope that they will offer at 15-20% earnings.

Just keep to yourself your computation.If they asked you how much did you spend then add 10% to your real expenditure and thats the number you will tell them

Hog trade prices from NFHFI.  Maybe the buyer whom you've asked for bought hogs from backyard raisers.  Usually, backyards LW price is P5 lower than that of commercial farms.  But you can ask them for a higher price especially if you're giving commercial feeds to your fatteners and not KB.

Masyadu kaming binarat sa presyo ng alaga namin. 70php/kl lang daw ang presyo ngaun ng LW. Kesyo daw backyard kami, di daw sa farm ang alaga namin. Wala daw gamot ang feeds na pinapakain namin..etc..etc..Commercial feeds ang gamit namin, regular din silang binibigyan ng b-complex. At kompleto sila sa vaccines. Peru sabi nya ganun daw talaga ng presyohan pag galing backyard. Sobrang inis ku talaga sa kanya, sarap sapakin. Ganun ba talaga ang kalakaran pag backyard ang alaga mu? Don't get easily affected with those buyers who were asking for lower liveweight price of your fatteners. Don't sell your hogs to them.   ::) As a backyard hog raiser, just be firm to explain to them that your fatteners are eating commercial feeds which we all know contains vitamins & nutrients needed by hogs. The current hog farm gate price posted which is as of August 4, 2010 in Gen San is from 85 to 90 per kilo. I think 85 will do. But you must check your expenses first before you decide on how much you will sell your hogs. :D

I think it's about time to ask the federation for the gates prices for those locations. I can see na maraming readers dito are coming from that locations (e.i., pangasinan, la union, ilocos). I'm not sure how we can relay this suggestion to them but it's worth mentioning here.

@Avionics - I'm also from Pangasinan, sa San Fabian. Right now kc mejo mababa pa rin bentahan, pero tama ka mejo mababa yang 80/kg na offer nila. You can bargain sa 85-90 cguro given ung latest na gates prices

Aakyat pa lng yan kc starting November. Kung malayo ka sa bayan, mas malaki chance na mabarat kc nga dagdag sa transpo cost p nila yan. And mababa tlga bigay nila pag backyard. Another to take in mind is bk ung kausap mo is middleman, kaya for sure gagawin nya lhat to bring down the cost so he can maximize ung earnings nya. I suggest if you can visit Tayug's public market and ask/canvass para may idea ka if sobrang baba tlga bigayan or binabarat k lng tlga. And also ask if they know that person, bnaggitin mo na rin na your raising hogs there bk may mga direct buyers ka na agad. Just my two cents. =)

I am not sure of the system na employ ng hogfederation para magenerate yun data nila pero i think base ito sa recommendation ng kanilang member per area. SO kung walang malaking farm na member sa mga area na ito ala din silang mabibigay na price.

Or it is possible din kasi na under ito sa PSPA group....

@doc nemo - doc marami pong big farm sa pangasinan ang hindi ko lang po sure eh kung member sila ng hog federation.

To all pangasinan backyard raiser: Mga sir baka po pwedeng mag share rin kayo ng mga contact number ng mga buyers. Paki share nyo na rin po kung magkano yung kuha sa inyo kung may magshare po atleast every month malaking tulong na po ito  para sa updated price especially for pangasinan area.

Another info to all backyard raiser: Ingat lang po tayo sa ibang buyers especially kapag tinitimbang na po ang mga baboy nyo. Mas maganda po palayuin nyo sila sa timbangan during the time na nasa kilohan na yung baboy. May mga modus po yung ibang buyer na hinahawakan po yung scale (for analog scale) para bumaba yung timbang ng inyong baboy o di naman kaya kunwari eh sinusuportahan nila ng tuhod yung baboy. Marami pa pong tricks ang ginagawa nila. This info was given to me ng isa sa mga tauhan ng isang buyer in pangasinan area.

May 15 heads rin ako galing sa farm (hypig, 10:8/2, 5:8/29) and I'm planning to get 10 more. I got it for 1.6k lng per head and 50+ days pa nila knung nakuha ko, abot 12kg+/each. Kaya laking discount ko rin na rin nun.

I'm using Ace feeds (nagkataon rin na un din preference ni doc Nemo  ;D) and mukang mataba nmn sila kung titignan sa edad nila ngaun. Ung isang kahon nmn iba gamit ko. Just trying to experiment what's the best feed for them. Magiiwan ako ng 2 or 3 para sa inahin ko for me to start them nmn. Maganda kc mga lahi nila and hand-picked ng tito ko sa farm. Sana abutin nila 90-100kg. =)

Hobbyist lng ako, di ko natututukan araw araw kc I'm full-time employee dito sa Manila. Mga parents ko nagaalaga dun and we have checkpoints lng every week. Heheh... Kaya I can't wait to go there month-end and see how large na mga baboy.

Thanks for sharing the numbers ng contact mo. Minsan may mga buyers from Baguio rin and maganda kung may contact k rin sa kanila kc bumababa mga un sa Pangasinan every week to buy 25 heads at least, ung kasya sa truck nila. Mataas rin bigayan nila.

Tama ka, daming modus mga buyers, minsan p nga tabingi pagkakalagay kaya sa scale rin mababa timbang. Suggest ng iba is gumawa ng kulungan, timbangin iyon then dun ipapasok ung baboy bgo timbangin, bwas na lng ung wt ng kulungan. That way, malayo sa modus ng mga buyer, basta make sure na nsa gitna lagi ung titimbangin. =)

@up_n_und3r Sensya na sir ngayon lang ulit ako  nkapag online. Sir pinaka mabigat is 95kilo lowest is 81 kilo using bmeg feeds @ more than 4 moths old. Pagdating naman po sa pinakamabigat tingin ko po wala sa kasarian yan kasi kapag napabayaan nyo sa pagpapakain eh magiging bansot yan. Nasa experment stage din po kami ng pagpapakain ng baboy currently po we did try robina(uno) & Bmeg. Kung comparison po ng dalawa i think i would suggest bmeg kasi based in our experience sa robina po malaki lang tignan pero mababa ang timbang (our own opinion lang po...). Yung ibang fattener po namin ngayon we are using pilmico hindi ko pa po sure kung maganda rin ang magiging timbang. We are also planning to yung ace feeds antayin ko lang po madispatch yung ibang fattener.Marami rin po kasing nagamit ng ace feeds sa pangasinan area kaya sa tingin ko mukang maganda rin yung result kapag ace feeds.

Live weight price as of now in Pangasinan is 95 per kilo. Don't sell less than this price although most consumers tend to buy chicken as substitute to pork meat because of too low LW price of chickens.  Poultry raisers now are suffering, I suggest government should impose an SRP for this. 100-105 is enough per kilo of chicken meat.

I would like to ask you sana on the price of culled sow and boar? Ano ba ang price range nito as of today kasi ang point ng mga buyers is that hinde ka pwede magincrease ng price dahil makunat na daw ang mga ito.  As far as I know they will sell it in the market same as the price of the fatteners or maybe a 10-15 peso lower than fatteners.  Ang kawawa dun is yung mga customers na hinde alam na sow or boar yung binibili nila dahil same lang ang price o kaya mas mababa nga ng kaunti.

I am not sure kung magkano na ngayon siguro nasa 50-70 pesos. ang tanda ko kasi is around 30 pesos ang pagkakaiba liveweight.

meron talaga naghahalo ng matandang baboy sa mga fatteners sa palengke pero most naman ng nasa palengke eh hindi mahilig mandaya ng customer...

yung inahin kasi pang tocino, longanisa etc... kaya po hindi nagkakalayo ng presyo ng procesed meat at ng fresh meat kasi ang pinakafiller nila ay yun matatandang baboy na nabili nila sa masmababang presyo.

Maraming mga hauler ang target ay matandang baboy then benta nila sa mga processing plant

Tama ka doc mostly sa mga processing plant napupunta yung meat and that's what I want to point out. It means malaki ang kita ng buyers pero they keep on insisting na sobrang mura na ang sow kasi kumbaga sa trash patapon na dahil culled na. If they want a cheaper price, then we'll give to them but they should also do their part which is to sell the processed meat at a lower price para ma afford ng lahat na bumili.

I cannot comment in terms of processed foods kasi hindi ko kabisado ang processing and costing nito..

In terms naman sa bilihan ng middleman and processing plant mababa din ang kuha sa kanila, hindi pantay sa fattener pigs ang presyong inaaalok ng processing plant sa middleman.

ang mga buyer hinahanap po kasi nila yun grower na mababa ang resiko, kaya pinapafast nila ng 8-12 hours ang baboy. kasi ang bentahan nila sa  slaughter house is carcass weight na.  so kung masyadong mabigat ang bituka ng baboy at mababa ang recovery, matatandaan yun baboy nyo as pangit, di na sila babalik.

Sa mga manok kasi ganyan din ang ginagawa, yung sa baka naman yun iba pinapainom ng maraming tubig to gain weight....

pero technically hindi naman talaga lupa yun kinakain nila, napapasama lang ng konti... ang mga baboy kasi sa wild natural na burrower/digger , root crops ang kanilang kinakain kaya medyo nakakakain din sila ng lupa kapag nahukay na nila yun food nila

Napakababa naman ngayon ng liveweight price...but the price of feeds was too high when we started feeding our fatteners a few months ago.... :'(  the corn, rice bran from palays which are the main ingredients of hog feeds and other livestock feeds got damaged as well by typhoon...wla ba tayong karapatan to at least freeze the price at 100?  ???

Abej, i mix rice bran with cooked corn to grower stage feeds. Kc that's the stage wherein they eat the most... Sabi nga nila ad libitum na pg sa stage n yan para mabilis ibenta so bawas sa indirect expenses like water, electricity, labor cost, etc....as per the quantity tantsa lang...:)

hi mga guys...me newly lang nagaalaga ng inahinin, location ko sa Taysan, Batangas..sobrang baba ng presyo ng LW ngaun dun..nasa P80-85 lang, sa biik nama is P160-60..pagnagcompute ka ng gastos mo.. sobrang talo  ka pa sa feeds and maintenance talaga..ngaun kahit anong gawin mo na compute talaga lugi..mahal ang breeder feeds, hog-free and starter.. :(

arnold advice ko lang sayo na wag kana mag compute, mawawala ang momentum mu sa negosyong tingin mu magdadagdag sayo ng kita. the best thing to do is continue what your doing and love it. beside d mu naman mababayaran ang mga experience at learning mu sa panahon na pinalaki mu sila;) move on bro... d ka nag iisa;)

Below was the statement of Edwin Chen, president of the Pork Producers Association of the Philippines last December 6, 2011.

“We are encouraging our members to put up their own meat shops and sell the pork products at lower prices, and then brand it. This way, we would cut out the middlemen and minimize the chances for undue price manipulation,” Mr Chen said.

Mr Chen said hog raisers, particularly those into backyard farming, were losing P1 billion a month from falling farm gate prices. Backyard hog raisers consist 70 percent of the total swine industry.

“Farm gate prices of pork continue to drop, but prices in the market have not been adjusted downward and continue to increase, which is a disadvantage to both farmers and consumers,” Mr Chen said.

The group suspects that some people, including slaughterhouse operators, are manipulating the prices of pork in the market.

Are you with us? I beg to disagree but, do you think this is just a local issue that can be resolved thru LGU protests? Using a gun to kill a monster wont kill it. This is not a local or isolated issue as what I believe your comments are suggesting.
If you're saying na responsibility ng LGU to control prices in wet market, then why is DA has price watch services? What's the mandate of DA ba? Please enlighten us if we are barking on the wrong tree.

I feel bad about this as well, who is not ba? Please see the bigger picture.

On my opinion tama po si kuyang erik kasi po if ever na LGU ang incharge sa wet market receiver lang po ang dating nila,the ROOT of all this things happing is bakit pinababayan ng DA ang more imported meat to come in our own backyard,AT ISA pa po HINDI naman po tayo in shortage ng hogs locally,so akin lang po walang karapatan ang LGU kong mag sale ng meat na imported sa wet market kasi po pinayagan ng DA,mgayon po tayo ang mag bantay to that big mistakes of GOVERNMENT,dapat restricted ang wet market sa local product para sa ganoon po maka pag move on ang market price.
THE BIG MISTAKE OF government is nakikinig sila sa mga importer kasi dyan ang corruption.
Sayang EDSA annv. pa naman akala natin mag babago na ang kapwa nating pilipino piro halos walang pinagbago/mas lumala pa yata.
Try nila babaan ang imported product taasan nila ang LW tingnan natin kong hindi dadami ang  local Hogs product,but hangat dyan ang mga BUAYA sa GOV. samething parin ang mangyayari.maski 10x na EDSA pa ang gawin natin.

siguro po doc kung iuutos ng DA n bawal ibenta ang frozen meat s palengke.  o kahit po siguro ng PAO, puede kaming magreport s mga local gov't officials n nakakasakop s amin.  kasi di nmn po sila kikilos dahil wala namang utos n galing s taas.

But technicality wise devolved na ang structure ng government natin.

DA's function is more on policy making and creation ng projects. implementation and pag papaunlad ng agricultura is nasa kamay ng LGU...

Bakit devolved na ang system? this is to have accountability. Pag hindi maunlad ang isang lugar ang unang dapat sisihin ay local government at hindi ang national.  Case in point, ang Camsur, isa ito dati sa mahirap na lugar sa Pilipinas pero nung nagkaroon ng initiative ang kanilang LGU, isa na ito ngayon sa umuunlad na lugar.

Sa case ng pagpayag ng DA sa importation of meat products , ito ay for the sole purpose na pang canned goods lang siya. And bawal ito ibenta sa local markets, may order po yan from DA. kung meron nakikita sa local markets it means hindi binibisita ng local LGU ang local markets nyo kaya hindi ito nasasawata or takot ang LGU nyo sa mga taga palengke or hindi alam ng LGU nyo ang mga rules,,, attend ng attend lang ng seminar para lang magkaroon ng travel budgets and incentive.

Kailangan din kasi ibalanse yun price of canned goods, although meron tayong available na meat pero kung ito purely ang gagamitin sa canned goods then tataas ang presyo ng canned goods which will affect naman lahat ng Pilipino. It is a balansing act na ginagawa ng DA hindi lang sa meat, maging sa other products. Same is true din ang nangyayari sa mga nag mamais, sibuyas etc.

another thing also malamang din hindi galing sa registered imported meat ang nakikita sa palengke. Possible din kasi na mula naman ito sa custom na misdeclared and nakalusot at umabot sa market....

Kaya ang approach is more on guerila type dapat, bantayan ang palengke from imported meat, botcha and the likes....Kasi di din naman natin masisisigurado kung meat ito  through importation ng DA, Customs or farms na nagbebenta ng botcha. Ang sure lang is sa palengke ito babagsak.

Imagining nyo na lang ganito, kahit na magreklamo ako ng magreklamo sa DA , appointed yan, walang ginastos yan sa election at hindi yan tatakbo for re-election, kahit tainted ang credibility niyan walang magiging problem kasi sagot sila ng boss nila na once lang din naman pwedeng tumakbo for presidency. So, kaya devolved ang responsibility,  LGU ang bhala sa inyo kasi sila ang pwedeng palitan by election(every 3 years). Pinapadalhan sila ng budget ng national para gamitin sa lugar niyo. May pork barrel si congressman para gamitin sa lugar nyo. May IRA din ang barangay.

Sorry kung medyo namamasaker ko ang LGU etc... Ilang beses na rin kasi ako nakaencounter dito sa forum na nagsuggest ako na lumapit sila sa  LGU and ang feedback sa akin is hindi sila pinuntahan ng LGU sinabihan lang na magbigay ganitong gamot at kinontra lang kung ano ang initial findings ko....The mere fact na pinapapunta ko sila sa LGU nila is for the purpose na para mabisita sila at magkaroon ng definite diagnosis at magagawa lang ito kapag nakita ang animal at maassess ng tama.

And lastly, we have to remember, hindi uunlad ang isang lugar kung hindi din kikilos ang community.one thing i learned sa Public health course is that if the community is not receptive or walang initiative for sure magfail ang project.

agree po ako some of your opinion piro ask lang po di po ba every LGU office may mga taga NATIONAL DA representative so kaya mga sila ang linagay in every LGU office to assest the LGU about the NATIONAL regulation to implement so sa aking pananaw po hindi po halos karamihan ay isisi sa LGU ang pangyayari as you said ang national DA po ang nag approve ng importation ng meat to balance the over all needs in commodities so they are the one to blame din po,kasi po ang LGU well follow lang naman po sa national regulation.at sa camsur naman po not in product po sila nag improve kondi sa turista po dahil sa maganda ang lugar nila yon po ang kanilang na bigyang attention.
tano po kayo the people na mga nationals ay puro appointee po sila at ang pres. ay once lang sa pwisto kaya po ba ganoon nalang po ang adhikaiin nila once in a life time mag injoy sila at mag pa kasaya sa position nila bahala na ang mamamayan kong maayos or hindi,kaya nag topic ko po tayo nito kasi po sana kong mayrong kababayan natin ma maka pag siwalat sa nakakataas sa problima natin sa kasalokoyan at maka tulong po sa atin na umunlad.

YUn representative ng DA sa LGU ang input nila po ay manggagaling lang din sa LGU. Ang function lang nila is sabihin sa LGU na ito ang project ng DA etc etc etc... and kayo ang bahala sa tao na mag aasikaso sa area nyo. Kaya nga pag may project sila sa isang lugar lagi nila ksama ang taga munisipyo. Dhil wala silang authority talga sa isang lugar. Bubusina sila lagi sa LGU.

Like you said follow lang ang LGU sa DA, eh sinabi na nga ng DA na ang meat import natin is for canned processing lang kung meron sa palengke nyo dapat LGU na ang bhala dhil nga sila talaga ang incharged dyan sa palengke.

and also bago naman gumawa ang DA ng importation nagcoconsult din sila  sa local. Ang nagiging problem lang tatanungin nila ang  Local DA kung ilan ba ang pop ng ganitong hayop etc, etc, wala silang mapapakita puro hearsay dahil ang mismong LGU , munisipyo , brgy hindi alam  kung ilan ang nag aalaga sa kanila. Hindi ko nilalahat pero karamihan.

This is based sa experience ko na din sa field. You could try also, punta kayo sa munisipyo ask nyo sila ng breakdown ng pop ng nag aalaga at animal per brgy, gud luck kung may makuha kyong sgot. THis is very vital sa project ng national. Yun data sa local dapat accurate para makapabigay sila ng magandang project.

Yun sa camsur issue na sinsabi ko it is about initiative ng LGU nila, alam na nilang mahirap sila , ano gagawin nila, ano ginawa nila?. kung alam ng lgu nyo na hirap na hirap na kyo sa pag aalaga ng baboy nyo, ano gagawing lgu nyo para sa inyo?

 SA issue ng DA as appointeed ang bigger picture lang na gusto ko sabihin is that sino ba ang mas makakarinig sa inyo yun nasa national government or yun nasa local na kayo mismo ang bumuboto at namimili? Ang DA nakikinig lang yan sa mga LGU , sa mga input nila. Meron kayong mga congressman na pwede sabihin sa DA na bakit kayo nag import , paano na ang lokal market, kahit papaano may say ang mga congressman kasi sila ang nag aallot ng budget para sa kanila. kaya dumadaan pa sa budget hearing yang mga yan. At sino ang nag talaga sa mga congressman nyo? diba ang mga botante

Kaya hindi maganda ang project minsan ng nasa taas kasi yun input nun nasa baba ay hindi kagandahan(aside sa fact na may corrupt).  To be clear po, hindi ako nagwork sa DA, walang akong kamag anak sa DA, walang akong ambisyon na magwork para sa kanila. Hindi ko din sila pinagtatanggol, mali talaga na nag import sila kaso ang problem is ang data na dumadating sa kanila is possible na not accurate. Kailangn nila ibalanse ang presyo at kailangan nila ng data para dito.

Mas malaki ang papel ng LGU sa pag unlad ng bansa kesa ang papel ng national natin. And the sad reality is kung mahirap ang isang bayan iyan ay dahil hindi kagalingan ang namumuno dito. Scapegoat nalang nila ang national government. MAraming budget and project ang ibinibigay ng national sa LGU pero pag dating na rin sa LGU medyo nawawala yun essence ng project. Or hindi kagalingan manghingi ng project si LGU sa National. If we want change it should always start sa backyard natin.

Kaya walang data ang LGU kasi nakatago ang ibang mga hograiser...hindi nakaregister, walang business permit, hindi nagbabayad ng tax kase takot magbayad pero gusto kumita, hindi naman kalakihan ang bayad sa mga yan. Kaya yung mga nangyayari na yan ay merun ding kasalanan ang mga hograiser....sabi nga sa isang kwento " kung sino man ang walang kasalanan, dumampot ng bato at batuhin ang babaing makasalanan".....

ask lang po KONG wala pong statistic report ang LGU sa hog  product sa locality nila paano po nag arrive sa conclusion ang national DA para sa importation nila,saan sila po nag base ng figure nila para sa tamang required ng pag import ng freeze meat.in my opinion po kasi even kong pati ang procees meat sana kong sa local nila binibili sana tataas ang demand ng hog at the same time maka increase ng price ang hog to compensate naman po sa high price ng commercial feeds kasi po totoo po hindi natin pwdi ma control ang feeds kasi sa mahal diin po ng ingredient kaya po sana patas naman ang playing field sa hog price.

nag inquire po ako sa DERN at naka kuha na po ako ng application para po sa ECC as sa sinabi po nila LESS THAN  100 head exempted pa po. piro much the better na mag apply for ECC .
