About Feeds.
« on: August 23, 2018, 07:21:57 PM »
I would like to ask about feeds.

Question 1: What is the difference between STARTER, GROWER, and FINISHER feeds aside from Crude Protein percentage? eg. 17-16-13.

Question 2: What is the difference between Class A,B,C feeds aside from the amount of drugs, supplements they mix into the feeds?

eg: PIGROLAC
Class A - Premium - [Advance Cooling System + PigroBuilders + Clean Air Factor]
Class B - Vital Lines - [PigroBuilders + Clean Air Factor]
Class C - Top Hog - [None]

Question 3: What is the worst thing that could happen if your start feeding piglets starting with GROWER feeds? Finisher feeds?
*Feed providers strongly advise that when you first get your piglets that you'll raise for slaughter, you start with PRE-STARTER, then STARTER, then GROWER, then FINISHER.

I tried raising one pig, beginning with STARTER feeds skipping PRE-STARTER, going 101 days now, as of today (Aug. 25, 2018), with an estimated weight of around 90KG. So I thought, can I do this with Grower feeds? Finisher?

*Sold the pig on August 28. It weighed 107 KG. Used UNO-Premium Feeds: 1x starter, 2x grower, 1x finisher.
