36  LIVESTOCKS / SWINE / Re: Hog Farm Gate Price on: June 04, 2010, 12:29:39 AM
I also think some of the buyers buy hogs before the price gots higher
so that they could keep their hogs and sell it during the day/week they could sell it with better price..
I noticed that because during the day a hauler buy our fatteners (May 29, LW=95) only few of them were marked (minamarkahan using blade).
Then the next day (May 30, LW=105), I heard that the LW went higher to 10 pesos.
Too bad I already sold our fatteners  Sad Sad Sad

antibiotic and antiinflammatory combination can increase risk of abortion....

Anyway medyo late reply at naging busy...

Hopefully their technician could visit this week..

Thanks and God bless po..
40  LIVESTOCKS / SWINE / Re: Best Livestock Weighing Scale on: June 03, 2010, 11:58:46 PM
Thanks po sa info..
I think most of the piggery farm out there are using this weighing scale, vascula/bascula.
We already had this in our farm but the problem is one of our buyer last May 29 was the one manipulating our weighing scale, I didn't want to argue with her because she is a customer. But the thing is she controls the weighing scale the whole time until all of the 29 head of fatteners were already weighed. All of our buyers just check and observe while the livestock are being weighed except to her. It was the first time that she hauled in our farm (but twice during that day because she hauled in the morning and in the afternoon). She was recommended by a feeds dealer. I don't know her personally but I'm still thankful that they bought our fatteners. Please give me an advice on how to deal with the same situation.. Our other option is to change our weighing scale to a semi automatic/automatic livestock weighing scale so that there will be less interference to human and accurate reading/measurement(digital). Same with this.. http://www.ccscales.com/html/livestock.html But I think it's expensive..

Thanks and God bless po..

Good day to all..

We are thinking of buying another batch of piglets (50 heads)  before our gilts got pregnant..
We would like to buy a quality piglets that would not cost too much..
Genetics is really important but management also counts..
I ask for a little patience to our fellow hog raisers out there because I have a lot of questions in mind..
Thanks for all the advices..
This forum really help/helped me a lot..

Thanks again and may God bless all of us..
43  LIVESTOCKS / DISEASES / Re: Biik na bigla na lang namamatay on: June 03, 2010, 12:31:10 AM
Thanks Doc Nemo. Maraming na akong natutunan dito sa forum, of course with your advises mostly.
I have fatteners to dispose as of now.
Ave.wt. is 86kg.

Thanks and God bless po..

45  LIVESTOCKS / DISEASES / Re: SORE EYES on: June 03, 2010, 12:11:26 AM
Miss Jenny,

Ryan

Ok po Sir Ryan..

Salamat po sa mga information..

God bless po..
