Hi what cheaper pick some good sows out of your batch of fatteners feed them intill there ready for gigy gig of try to buy them when there full grow?example try to find some at the live stock market that someone needs the money?is this possible?

It is cheaper to get from your own batch at the same time you are sure of the performance because you have the data.

At the current situation of the hog industry it is the one who could produce more piglets will surely succeed.
Short term target should be produce sow that would produce piglet.
Long term target is to increase the genetic potential, input new breeds.
