One form of advertising is Word Of Mouth Advertising, its simple and cheap.Providing ones costumer base with quality customer service = a happy customer, and a happy customer is a repeat costumer, the more costumers = more sales ,which one hopes = more profit(s).Knowing what the costumer is looking for, is important.Flexability, ability to change with the times.

Is giving a calling card for every customer we've met is good marketing strategy or not? Thanks

i do think it is still a good strategy.

morphing the traditional calling card with a calendar on it will be more effective.  If there is a calendar on it people tend to put it on their wallet rather than throw it because it is now useful for them.
