Magbigay ng vitamins or antibiotic  bago at pagkatapos magwalay.
avoid stress.

english version

There are instances in the farm that piglets die suddenly.

Usually the one that dies is the largest or one of the largest on the group.

There are no clinical signs or symptoms the caretaker have observed.
Before it dies it has good appetite, looks healthy and just died.

Observing the died piglets you could notice that it has bloated stomach and inflamed face. Sometimes it mistaken for a respiratory disease due to it inflamed eyes. Some says it die because of over feeding or heart attack.

This disease is called sudden death. It is caused by an bacteria, E.coli. This E.coli produce toxin that destroys its endothelium that damages its blood vessel and lymphatic. The destruction of the said parts caused the edema in some parts of the pigles body especially in the stomach.

How to prevent this disease.

Always maintain the farrowing pen clean and also the weanling pen where the piglet will be transferred.
